Starpaw, her heart heavy with sorrow, watched Ravenflight and Salixastream.
Being a Medicine Cat is a huge commitment... she thought, I won't be able to have a mate either... Looking at Ravenflight and Salixastream, he had a feeling that it was hard loving someone but not being able to do anything about it.
Sighing, she left the medicine cat den, thought zooming in and out of her head.

Frowning, Starpaw sat outside the apprentices' den. "I should've been able to save her." She kept muttering to herself.
"I knew I was doing something wrong, wasn't sure what though...Spottedleaf, where are you?" She asked, looking up into the stars.

With all of the sorrow around her, she suddenly wished that Fallenleaves was here with her. She smiled as she thought about him.
In all this darkness, she imagined him as her light, then looked at the Warrior's den; where he nested.
She turned back to the sorrow. She then of the forbiddeness that came with it. She diddn't really care...the Warrior Code didn't mean much to her now; after all that's happened, she diddn't think the Warrior Code didn't mean much to anybody anmore.
Her attention turned to the dead Rippykit. She walked up to her, and took the limp kit between her jaws. Without a word, she walked out of the den, and into the forest to have a proper funeral.

Tangletail ignored her as she walked out into the forest; all she wanted was this kit to have the proper funeral, she was sure that's what Rippykit would have wanted.
Tangletail knew that Salixastream had the right to be here, but something told her that being alone would have helped Rippykit. She sighed as she dug the hole, then placed the body of Rippykit in. She nuzzled her, then quickly and carefuly but the dirt over her limp self. She padded it down with the back and front paws, then stared up at the sun-lit sky that looked of a bright blue with now clouds. She could see the moon faintly bursting in.
"StarClan." She moewed, bowing her head once more. "Please watch over this kit as you would a fearless Warrior. Give her the respect she deserves. In her small life, she has been through much more than a Warrior might have been." She whispered, looking down at the ground, her eyes closed.
"Don't let any more harm come to her, and let Salixastream be okay." She prayed up to StarClan quietly.

dont worry raven im not gonna do anything drastic i just wanna bury my kit my self if it has to be anyone. i-i wasnt there wen she was alive and needed me. i might as well be here for her while she dead...

Tangletail felt a sudden rush of guilt as she heard Salixastream's sorrowfull voice behind her, but she knew that Rippykit didn't want to cause any more sorrow than she already had, and then she decided that burying her when she was alone was the right thing to do.

Tangletail heard Salixastreme answer her speachless remark.
All she could do was shake her head, and walk past her.
"Rippykit was always the one who wanted to make everybody happy. Do you want her to do the exact opposite? That's diffitally not what she wanted. If she caused anybody pain, she would want to make it the slightest pinch of all." She face looked at the ground.
"How do I know?" She repeated. "There are things that all cats know...and Rippykit not wanted to cause her own mother pain, is one of those things."
