Starpaw padded over to Thornclaw and sat beside him. "I wish she had lived longer. I wish I had gotten to know her better." She mewed, eyes sad.

Tangletail stared after her, not making any movement exept for her breathing. She sighed, then turned her head.
"I'm sorry." She murmured to the croud. She turned, then walked out of the forest, towards WindClan territory.
"If have to go to the Moonpool..." She meowed quickly to herself, her pace turning into a fast run.

She sighed with releif as she saw the starry water.
StarClan. She thought. Please....You must speak with me..
Without any more hesitation, she touched her nose to the water, then drifted into unconsiciousness as StarClan granted to rest that she needed to talk with the ones that rule over all.

"I hate how young kits die every day." Starpaw couldn't help but comment. Her ears pricked up as the last of the day was disappearing and the stars were starting crowd the sky.
"I hope Rippykit is up there now....she really deserves it."

Tangletail looked around, but saw nobody. She took in her surroundings. She was in what looked like the SoulClan...acutally...it WAS the SoulClan camp. She tilted her head, clearly confused.
She heard an achingly familiar voice. She turned her head, but only saw a faint shadow in the mist. She shadow widened, but only to for a small body.
"Rippykit." She meowed, dipping her head to the dead kit.
"Please..." Rippykit meowed, her voice cracking and squeeking at the same time, her big eyes widened.
Tangletail listened intently.
"I don't want to make my Clanmates sad!" She wailed as a big tear fell down her fur.
"Rippykit...I keep trying to tell them-" Rippykit's wait cut Tangletail off.
"I want Salixastream!" She cried, her usual happyness gone."I want my mommy!" She added to her wail-filled plea. Then Tangletail awoke in startlement.
She looked at the ground, her memory filled with her last cry.
I want my mommy!
She padded back into Camp, still thinking her sorrowfull exprecion.
"Where's Salixastream?" She asked Starpaw quietly.

Tangletail shook her head quickly, then turned to forest, quickly catching Salixastream's scent. She followed it untill she saw her staring blankly over the border.
"Salixastream." She whispered.

Tangletail smirked lightly.
"She was crying." She meowed. "She didn't want to make anybody sad..." The last part she was scared to add, but she did anyway.
"She was crying because....she wanted her mom." Tangletail whispered, wondering what Salixastream's reaction would be.

Tangletail wondered if StarClan would approve of a Warrior going to the MoonPool, but now it seemed like the only way.
"Mabey..you can see her." Tangletail meowed, getting her paws. "I'm not sure, though, but it's a chance."
