((There's no excuse I can give other than it slipped my mind after swim practice. I am so so so sorry, everyone, but I understand if you're mad at me. I made a mistake. However, we will keep this thread running for a few days, so that everyone can post when they have the chance.))
Whisperstar led her Clan to the top of the hollow and crouched down. She looked down at Two-Rocks and sighed. I wonder what DeathClan will have to say tonight... she thought. She looked up at the full moon, shining bright in the clear sky, and felt better. I don't care what DeathClan does, we will always be SoulClan. She looked around at the cats she had chosen to go to the Gathering.
She felt a pang of regret that Spottedsun had to be left at home. But she had broken the warrior code by having kits with a rogue, and Whisperstar had to punish her, or it would've looked like her best friend was getting special treatment. Whisperstar grimaced, but thought of the new kits that SoulClan now had. More strong, brave warriors to keep the Clan going! she thought happily.
Whisperstar raised herself to her full height and flicked her tail as a signal to move. Her eyes met with Goldenshard's, and Whisperstar saw how proud the young cat was to go to her first Gathering as a warrior. Whisperstar smiled, and then turned to plunge down the slope of the hollow. DeathClan had not yet arrived.

Dogfang followed closely behind Whisperstar. It was his first gathering as deputy and he was anxious to let the DeathClan cats know what they would be messing with now. He watched Whisperstar jump up on the Two Rocks (( you jump on to the Two Rocks right? )). He couldn't resist a pang of jealousy, and maybe a little guilt. He wanted to be up there so bad. If he was leader, there would be no DeathClan problem. Launching an attack on those mangy flea pelts would have been the first thing he would have done. And could Whisperstar not have launched an attack? They killed Flamestar, one of her best friends for no good reason! And who else could have killed her except for that flea ridden excuse for a deputy, Shattergaze? If it wasn't for the full moon truce he could tech her a lesson right when she got here....

Sandheart followed slowly. The gathering was making her stomach do flip-flops. So much had happened between this one and the last. The journey, the death of Flamestar, the White and Storm incident, her new apprentice, the miraculous birth of both a rouge and a warrior of SoulClan. And much much more.
She gazed around the TwoRocks clearing. DeathClan had not yet arrived, but they would soon. And that was when the trouble would begin. She took a spot close to the rocks. She would rather hear the news closer up. But then again, she might just sit by Deathsong. Medicine cats always basically had a truce with one of the other Clan. But that wouldn't stop DeathClan from attacking. They'd probably break the full-moon truce and it'd be up to her and Deathsong to stop it. If Deathsong wanted to stop it.

(( Oh my bad ))
Dogfang tore his eyes away from Two Rocks and looked around. He couldn't smell the rank scent of DeathClan so they must not be even near.... But of course it would be like them to be late. He was happy to see that Spottedsun wasn't there, she didn't deserve to come. Dogfang had to admit that he was afraid that his leader would allow her some special treatment. He also saw Sandheart. I know she's a medicine cat but why would she want to sit anywhere near Deathsong? She's just as bad as the rest of her rag-tag clan.... he thought to himself.

Sandheart's eyes narrowed when she saw Dogfang observing every cat. Anger burned through her face. He was so full of himself! Thinking he was best! And she had her suspensions that he wanted to become Leader more then every thought. This was like Tigerstar all over. (She'd heard her fair share of stories) But Whisperstar was oblivious to it. She was wrapped up in the DeathClan problem. But she didn't blame her....mostly, it'd be hard for Sand too, to have to deal with all this.

Darkstar trotted up to the edge of the hollow. The clearing was already filled with those stupid Soulcats. Darkstar didn't care though, making them wait on him made him chuckle; it was fun to manipulate those stupid cats. Darkstar looked behind him at his clan. He saw them all watching him, anticipation in their eyes. And yes, blood lust too. Turning back to Two Rocks, he flicked his black tail in a signal to follow before descending into the clearing. This night is going to be fun...

(Whitepaw)
Whitepaw growled irritably. It was one thing to be having to ask permission to leave the camp, but forbidden to go to the gathering? How could she live without going? She hissed in frustration. Darkstar had left behind a fair share of the cats who mistrusted her and was basically watching her every move. Great.
Growling, she padded in circles, planning. Planning to get to that gathering to see what would happen. To wreck anything good that would happen. To make StarClan angry. To make both Clans angry.

(oh thanks dogfang, feelen the love) Sweetsnow followed her Leader into the clearing for the Gathering and looked around. She didnt know who to sit by so she stood there fidigting from paw to paw. She started to study her paws guiltily. Spottedpaw would probably be here at her first Gathering if she had just been more attentive.... *~* Deathsong: Deathsong padded into the clearing after Darkstar. She looked around slowly, her expresion blank. Blinking slowly, her eyes caught sight of Sandheart. She slided through the mass of cats, holding her head high despite her very small stature. Deathsong sat down by Sandheart and dipped her head politly. "Hello Sandheart."

Dogfang watched the DeathClan cats come and barely surpressed a hiss. He would have to sit by Shattergaze..... One of his least favorite cats. He saw Deathsong take a seat by Sandheart just as he had predicted. Then his fell on the cat that maybe he hated the most, Sweetsnow. No just kidding, Darkstar.... The tom was just a bit smaller than himself but thought he was all that. '' I can't wait till he dies.... '' Dogfang hissed under his breath. Dogfang longed to just harm some of these filthy cats now, but he knew he couldn't. Even if they may no honor the full moon truce, he would.

Lightningwind walked among the stars alone. it was a full moon, time for another gathering... Lightningwind shook her Ginger head of fallen stars and padded along. At what seemed like forever, sghe made it to Two rocks. The other Starclan cars were already there, whispering about what will happen this time. Every gathering has resulted in fights, argues and quarrels. Lightningwind sighed and sat down. Her star-coated tail swishes around. Suddenly, a black she-cat ran up to her. " Lightningwind! Where were you?! The gathering is about to begin!!!!"
"Sorry Blackwhisper..." chuckled Lightningwind. " I diddn't miss anything." she looked down at the Soulclan and deathclan cats.
Streamkit raced across the clearing. Just able to see the last of the cats leave. Streamkit whispered, "Bye." after that, streamkit walked around in circles around the camp. It was a little fun. But she really wanted to go to the gathering. Luckey them... I have to be stuck in camp. streamkit sighed and curled up in a ball and slept.

Shattergaze padded in with the rest of her Clan behind Darkstar. Both Leader and Deputy chuckled as they waltzed into the Gathering "late". Darkstar loved to mess with the SoulCats, and Shattergaze loved it herself. As they entered the gathering area, Shattergaze studied the SoulCats. Nothing's changed there. Weak as ever. However, Shattergaze was interested to see who had been picked as the new Deputy. After I killed their last one.She sneered. Near Whisperstar, she spotted a grey and white tom. Who is that? Oh yes, Dogfang...not very impressive. Although... She looked at him closer. ...he seems different than the rest of the SoulCats...perhaps corruptible? Or corrupt already...interesting. She smiled to herself, and padded over to take her place next to the two Highrocks underneath her Leader and that sad cat, Whisperstar.
Goldenshard followed her Clan down to the Gathering, bursting with pride. She was going as a Warrior for the first time...now DeathClan would see what they had to deal with. I'll destroy them all to protect my Clan. They are nothing next to us. After waiting for awhile, DeathClan finally entered the clearing. Goldenshard narrowed her eyes. She didn't trust any of them...they didn't care about the peace during a Gathering or even StarClan themselves. Now that she was a warrior, she would finally be able to fight them on even ground.

Scarheart followed Darkstar and Shattergaze to the Gathering, and saw those weak Soulcats in the clearing. He snickered. Good thinking on Darkstar's part, making them wait for DeathClan to come. Looking at Two-Rocks, he saw Whisperstar, seemingly deep in thought. He wondered who the new deputy was now that Shattergaze had killed Fallenleaf. Dogfang? Hm... he didn't seem... Soul-ish.
Joypaw was becoming more impatient by the moment. She couldn't wait for the Gathering to start. It was her first Gathering, and she couldn't wait to hear what Darkstar had to say. She wondered if they had any big news. She also wondered if they'd say anything about Storm. Joypaw looked around, not surprised that Whitepaw wasn't there. She also saw Deathsong seated beside Sandheart. She wished, not for the first time, that Spottedsun was there. She remembered her words: "Promise me you'll be careful." Joypaw shuddered.
Faithsong scented DeathClan, and looked up to find them walking into the clearing, faces smug that they'd forced SoulClan to wait on them. She wondered if DeathClan was evil enough to break the truce. They had killed Flamestar, Fallenleaf, Heartkit, and countless others. How far would they go? You couldn't count on DeathClan to be the tiniest bit predictable. She could tell Joypaw was thinking the same thing, because she saw the young ginger apprentice shudder slightly. "Joypaw, are you shaking because you're afraid of what DeathClan will do?" she asked gently.
Joypaw nodded, forcing herself to stop shuddering. "I'm overreacting. I'm pretty sure there won't be any danger. If anyone tries to raise a claw, StarClan will cover the moon."

They think they're so smug making us wait. Wow that's pathetic. If that was all they had they could have t do a lot better. Dogfang thought and snorted with laughter. DeathClan always though they could ' get to ' the SoulClan cats but they had never frightened Dogfang, they never had even worried him. '' You flea pelts will have to do better than that if you want to get to us. '' Dogfang whispered out of the corner of his mouth to Shattergaze as she took a seat next to him. Dogfang was starting to become a bit impatient, now that the stupid DeathClan cats were here they could start the gathering and Whisperstar could announce to them that Dogfang was the new deputy. But of course they probably already noticed. he though happily as he saw Scarheart eying him.

Shattergaze turned to eye Dogfang as he let a snide comment slip from his tongue. "You flea pelts will have to do better than that if you want to get to us."
At this, her eyes flashed and she snickered. "Well by your reaction, it seems like we already have." Their Clan was pathetic, with their oh-we're-so-much-better-than-thou-and-yet-we're-the-ones-who-keep-dying attitude. Their righteousness and the blind way they followed StarClan made Shattergaze want to puke. And to rip out their throats. SoulClan talked big, but when it came down to it, they were always the cats who lost, always the cats who died. Shattergaze looked up at Darkstar. She hoped he would start the Gathering soon...after all, there was so much to tell. For example, the fact that Flamestar was dead, Fallenleaf was dead and Heartkit was dead, and that they had all been killed. And I myself took out both Flamestar and Fallenleaf. She grinned in memory of the delicious kills. There wasn't much that the SoulCats would be able to say that was positive, and at that, Shattergaze couldn't stop smiling.
Goldenshard padded over to Joypaw and Faithsong as she eyed the DeathClan cats. She saw that Joypaw was shaking a little, nervous about the Gathering and heard the end of their conversation. "We should all be a little worried," Goldenshard said in a soft voice so only they could hear. "They're completely unpredictable: we don't know what they will or won't do. Who knows even they even follow StarClan anymore?" She scowled. "We've got to be ready in case they try anything."

Joypaw heard Goldenshard's soft voice. "You're right; StarClan? DeathClan act like they've never even heard of StarClan." Then she changed the subject. "I wonder what they'll report. I heard they have some rogues in there now." She noticed Dogfang and Shattergaze talking, and Shattergaze didn't look like Dogfang was one of her favorite cats. Well, with Shattergaze, did she even have a favorite cat besides herself? She was unpredictable, like the rest. Joypaw flicked her ears toward the two deputies. "I don't think they're getting along very well. But I'm not sure if anyone outside DeathClan likes Shattergaze because of..." Joypaw didn't want to mention Flamestar and Fallenleaf's deaths.

Goldenshard nodded in agreement. "They have a leader with nine lives, apparently, and yet they completely disregard StarClan in every other aspect of their lives. I don't understand them." Goldenshard listened as Joypaw told her about the rogues in DeathClan. "Yeah, I heard about them...apparently they are more crazed cats out for revenge against us." Goldenshard rolled her eyes. "Those rogues were never even in our Clan, we've never fought them! I don't understand what they want revenge on us for. Catching Joypaw's eyes, she looked over to the two Deputies. "I don't think they're getting along either...but of course, none of us like any DeathClan cats, especially Shattergaze." Goldenshard hissed a little. That DeathClan Deputy had taken so much from their Clan...her fur bristled. She couldn't talk about it or she'd attack someone. Then she dropped her voice even lower. "And honestly, Dogfang isn't the nicest cat either. So it doesn't surprise me that Shattergaze is annoyed by him too." Goldenshard eyed the two Deputies. Dogfang could be harsh, and it seemed like he was always trying to pick a fight...Goldenshard hoped Shattergaze wouldn't piss him off to the point of starting a fight. It would ruin the Gathering, and who knows what else could happen during a fight, with both Clans and their strongest cats...

Whitepaw kneaded her paw on the ground. Shifting her weight from one side to another, she waited longingly. She would either ask to go hunting, or just leave. Everyone was aware of both her punishments, who Whitepaw as herself would never follow. And they would still have their suspicions of her SoulxDeath problem. She was still deciding when the moon had almost risen to the top of the sky.
Sandheart dipped her head and respect to Deathsong, copying her. "Hello." She greeted, calmly, but still a little short. "How are you adjusting to the new role?" From what Sandheart had heard, Deathsong had become medicine cat not very long ago. She was thinking of asking about herbs, but what good would that do? It would seem like she was trying to find out if DeathClan would be overrun by illness.

Flamekit - Small But Mighty Flamekit sat inside the SoulClan cat, flicking her white-tipped tail lazily. It was so boring in camp. There were hardly any kits around, better yet anyone to play with. Why so dull? Everyone was either gone to the Gathering, or in their Dens, just about to go to bed or take a nap, getting ready for the next Patrols for the following morning. She let out a breath of air, letting it hit the now cold, fridge air. Her air bounced back at her, as if it could not stand the cold air. Not even stupid cold air wanted to play with her. How pathetic it. Flamekit got to her paws. She was going to do something.
Anything was better than doing nothing, after all. She wanted to do something! With someone, anything. She was bored out of her mind and all the other kits were sleep or something -- she didn't care really either. Her gaze shifted over the camp. Most of the cats were gone, leaving only a few who were more than likely too lazy to even play with her. The small ginger she-kit pinned her white-tipped ears against her head. She actually felt rather alone. Another bad thing about being the oldest. You hardly had any fun. That was a positive...She curled up on the ground, covering her nose with her tail and sighing as she closed her eyes and drifted off. Blackdeath - Fierce and UnbearableBlackdeath's shoulders squared to its normal height as he looked around The Gathering Area. Cats of all shapes and sizes were standing with their Clans, hardly mingling. He could hardly blame them either. Hardly any DeathClan cats were talking to SoulCats, understandable.
If weakness is a wound that no one wants to speak of. Then "cool" is just how far we have to fall? He thought silently. He actually didn't really feel like having a fight with those pathetic furballs that call themselves Clan Cats. SoulCats were just simply a group of cats that StarClan had taken pity on. Sure, some DeathClan cats didn't believe in StarClan, but Blackdeath himself did. Surely all cats had to go somewhere, the Dark Forest, StarClan, anywhere but there was great.
He shook his pelt and looked around one more time, wondering who he should let have the honors of sitting with him. Shattergaze? Naw. He already had enough of her a day. Let's see. How about a SoulCat... he thought to himself. It would be fun to make them mad. Ohh. Goldenpaw or Joypaw. One of the other worked. He grinned to himself as he padded over to the two she-cats. This was going to be fun.
"Hello, ladies." he purred, trying his best to sound nice and sincire about all the deaths they had had in the past moons -- caused by his Clan of course. But eh. Who was judging anyways? "How has your Clan been?" he asked, trying to keep his voice nice and neat. He knew right off the back, Goldenpaw would be the one to snap first. It would take a bit for Joypaw, he fanitized, but she would get annoyed too sooner or later. He would focus on getting Goldenpaw mad, then Joypaw, then just simply walk off to talk to his own Clanmates. Sounded like fun to him. Maybe not to him. Though, talking to Goldenpaw and him being a DeathClan cat, he would have to be careful. It was known that she had a rather awful temper, like Flamestar had. He shook his head, scattering all thoughts of the past leader from his mind. He focused his gaze back on the two she-cats who probably thought he was crazy for having the nerve just to come over and talk to them as if they were old friends. Well, he was crazy. That was a fact, everyone knew. Everyone seemed to think all DeathClan cats were crazy, but some even thought the caramel tom was an exception. No. He wasn't crazy. He was insane. Whisperstar turned a cool gaze on Darkstar as he and his Clan entered the clearing. She didn't say a word, just nodded almost imperceptibly. She looked around at the two Clans, and noticed how they seemed to still be seperated. Even on a night when they were supposed to be at peace. Whisperstar sighed. She looked up at the top of TwoRocks, and the full moon above. The silvery light shone down on all of them, but the beautiful sight was lost on every cat. No one noticed, or appreciated. Tonight was just another night in their lives.
She tensed her muscles and leaped to the top of TwoRocks in a single, graceful bound. Whisperstar looked down on Dogfang and Shattergaze, who were sharing hissed words. Neither of them looked very friendly. She raised her gaze and saw Blackdeath talking to Goldenshard and Joypaw. That can't be good, she thought to herself. And her gaze travelled on; up the sides of the hollow and to the dark forest that surrounded them. She thought about all the news she would have to share tonight...some good, some very bad.
Whisperstar sighed again. Well...it was going to be an interesting night, that was for sure.
