June 10th Gathering

Joypaw watched in horror as Silverleaf slipped into unconsiousness, and her fright became worse as she saw the blood around Silverleaf. Joypaw grabbed the fresh leaves that had blown toward her, and began pressing them where the blood was flowing out. "StarClan save her..." she murmured. As the fresh green leaves were pressed into place, Joypaw took a deep breath. For the first time, she noticed the bright moonlight that spilled onto the silver warrior, making her look like an angel. Joypaw smiled faintly, and decided to find Sandheart in the clearing below. She bounded down, and the ginger apprentice began scanning the clearing, and found her seated beside Deathsong. "Sandheart! Please, could you help me? Silverleaf is bleeding quite heavily, and I'm not sure if I've done enough. I pressed some fresh leaves onto her wounds, but... please, could you help her?"

Dogfang bounded out of the clearing after Joypaw. He had heard a cry too. If luck was on his side it would be Silverleaf.... By the time he got there Silverleaf had fallen to the ground covered in blood. Joypaw was already rushing past him to the clearing. He padded over to Silverleaf and looked at her. He nudged her with one paw. A little voice in his was saying '' Kill her! Kill her! StarClan wants you too! They set this up for you! '' Dogfang shook his head. What would his kits think if it got out that he had killed her? What would Saidie think? But most importantly, he would lose his position as deputy. '' You got what was coming Silverleaf. '' he growled to her unconscience body. She was covered in leaves. She would need cobwebs. Dogfang shot her bleeding body one last glance then walked over to a low hanging branch with cobwebs on it.

[Starpaw]

" No!!!!" Starpaw screeched. She flew at the tree and grabbed as many cobwebs as possible." Sandheart!" she yowled in urgency. She covered the scratches and literaly layed on top of Silverleaf, putting pressure on her wounds. A tear came out from the crease of her eye. She cooed soothingly to the unconcious queen." Don't worry, if you move on, Starclan will be waiting and forgivness will be granted. You'll be happy and watch over all the cats you know and love. One day they'll regret not listening to me and you. Ctas think your a fool for what you did, but I think you were brave. You stood through the tough part of life and Starclan will be grateful for your wisdom."

Silverleaf opened her eyes slowly and smiled weakly, whispering for Starpaw's ears only, "I refuse to die until I show them all.. who.. Dogfang really... is,"

Her eyes returned cheery and lively as well as determined as she shakily sat up and chuckled as she held her forepaw up, not walking on it, "To think I broke this paw for at least the fifth time since I was a kit. Wolfsong would be very upset if she saw me right now... Now let's go back to the Gathering and show everyone how strong and determined we are Starpaw." She broke out a weak grin before limping toward the Two Rocks.

As she entered the clearing, all eyes were on her. Some SoulClan cats watched with stiffled gasps and wide eyes at what had happened to their fairly old queen, but Silverleaf carried herself with her head raised high and each step full of dignity. Silverleaf looked at Dogfang with a slight smirk on her face, signaling him he had heard what he said to her when he thought she was unconsious. Her fur was still covered in blood and slash marks covered her pelt, but in the moonlight yet again, she looked like a fallen angel.

Silverleaf limped without help to the SoulClan side, all eyes on her. As she sat down without problem and started to groom herself, wiping the blood away, everyone turned their eyes away to see the leaders' and deputys' reaction.

Sweetsnow watches all this, bewilderd. She couldnt figure out what to think or make of it. Dogfang sure was being rude. She narrowed her eyes and him and frowned, her tail tip still twitching.
Deathsong: Deathsong tipped her head to the side as she looked at Sandheart, waiting for an answer.

(Okay, we need to freeze this until Whisper replies, because things are getting slightly out of hand XD aka not going according to plan and plot errors going on...but after she posts and we figure this out, we'll be able to move on XD)

A smile crawled onto Shattergaze's face and her icy eyes blazed in amusement. It was just so great! This absurd drama, the betrayal, just how pathetic the whole scene was made her laugh. Dogfang claimed his Clan was strong, but just look at them! It was pathetic. She watched, observing closely, as Starpaw called Dogfang, in essence, an evil, bad cat. Interesting...I could be right. Although coming from an apprentice, that doesn't mean much. Hard to tell if its the truth or not. She shrugged. Either way, it didn't matter. Good or bad, their Clan was embarrassing themselves in plain sight. Then Silverleaf went off and came back, trying to look noble and dignified, and Shattergaze snickered again. Unbelievable!

This was all just proving Shattergaze and her Clan right. They were stronger, the dominant Clan who deserved to rule the forest. She laughed at Dogfang. "This is your powerful, united Clan? You can't even stand yourselves, no wonder the rest of us hate you. You're pathetic and weak."

Goldenshard shook her head as Blackdeath turned to walk away. He tried to make cat's snap, talking tough and acting big, but it just made him look like a stupid, attention seeker. "You talk big game, Blackdeath, but we all know that just means your compensating for something." She grinned. "Like battle skills, or a brain."

Then Starpaw came out and accused Dogfang of being a traitor, calling Flamestar weak. What is Starpaw doing??? Why would she do this in the middle of a Gathering? Goldenshard tensed, but didn't move. But is this true? Dogfang's always seemed like a mean, short tempered cat...but this? How could he? She looked to Whisper, waiting for a reaction, but then turned to Silverleaf as she limped back into the clearing. What in the name of StarClan is going on?

Sandheart whipped her head around at the call of Starpaw. Her ears pricked, she leaped to her paws turning her back on Deathsong. At first, she thought it was nothing but a little thorn. A little sting. Nothing, but then she saw Silverleaf. One of her best friends, limping back into the clearing, Starpaw glaring at Dogfang. Rushing to her side, her fur bristled. "What happened?" Sandheart demanded. Shattergaze's laugh made it all the worst. SoulClan was not pathetic. How would she act if this happened to her Clan?!

Whitepaw padded through the undergrowth, happy to be free. She was angry at Darkstar and Shattergaze for two reason. 1) She had to sneak away just to get an inch away from camp. 2) Darkstar didn't let her go to the gathering in the first place. Whitepaw had no idea what she was missing, and that just motivated her more to get to the TwoRocks. She was deadly near, downwind of every cat so they couldn't see her, but they could still see her calico fur in the moonlight. She would have to get better cover if she wanted to stay hidden. But where?
