Ok, so Im starting to get into writing poetry, soooo I made a thread for it. You all can tell me to change or rethink parts of my poems, cuz if you don't tell meh, I can never impprove! ;D So heres the first good poem Ive written: The Pride of a Wolf In the glow of the moonlight,
A wolf always sings,
Its call echoing through the forest,
Breaking all silence.
Its eyes peirce the darkness,
Watching all creatures of the night,
Planning their demise.
Freedom of spirit, body, and soul,
For their heart their is no key,
Captured by nothing, nothing at all,
Never to be tamed.
They roam the wild country,
They're beautiful, mysterious eyes glowing,
Side by side they hunt,
Shadows dancing acorss the northern skies.
Their eyes hold the ghost of their ancestors,
That roamed once before,
Strnegth, courage, and grace,
They are to the core.
Their silent paws trot,
On well beaten paths,
Alone in the wilderness,
Forever to last.
Finally they may disappear,
Away from cities and towns,
Away from man,
Hidden in the forest once again,
Back to the way of the wild...[/center] |

Awesome! ^_^ I sometimes right poetry too, but I think it's fun to make stuff rhyme like that XD

Hmmm... Ill have to really think about that topic. But sure  Ill probaly have a poem on Scourge by this time tomorrow. Any more ideas? |

I just made up this poem in about two minutes. XD
Degraded, Mislead,
Power he should be fed,
Beaten, defiled,
Growled at, exiled.
He wanted respect,
To be perfect.
To be thought of in trust,
Not mischevious lust.
With tooth and claw,
He faught till raw.
He pained, he ached,
With his claws he raked.
Killed and frowned upon,
Like a useless pawn.
Now he watches from afar,
For he is Tigerstar.

Silver...can I make little grammar corrections?? I mean, if you're turning it in for a contest, they care about that sort of stuff. Do you mind?

Very good poems, both of you! I um, well, I um, wanna show one I made. Its tiny so yah, sorry Silverleaf. *Blushes* here: Premature Babies
Little tiny babies
Kept in a room
Waiting and waiting
For death is nearly soon
Doctors working and working for a cure
So the babies are secure
We'll never know
If they'll grow
So tiny, so petite
So anxious in my seat
Hoping my baby will come
Or if its life is done
When they die there is sympathy
But none of your friends can show empathy
In bed sheets they lay
Only for one day
When even one dies
Everyone cries
Little tiny babies
Kept in a room
Waiting and waiting
For death is nearly soon... |
