I'm sorry, Silveh. I hate that. I was too little (4 years old maybe) when my mom and dad divorced, so I didnt really listen to there fighting, much less understand it. The second divorce, was between my mom and step-dad, but it didnt hurt me that much, cuz I was only like maybe 8. But b4 that, my dad got married to my step-mom and they fight sometimes, and now my mom is engaged to her 4th husband. (She had a husband b4 I was born but he wasnt my dad)

Silver...I don't hate my dad but things are just hard right now. My parents got divorced a few years ago and we fight all the time. You know how long he waited after he told us to get a girlfriend? Less than a month. The divorce wasn't even final for another 5 months. Then he didn't tell us that he had a girlfriend until 9 months after that. We had to force it out of him since we guessed. Since that time (about 2 years) I can count on one hand the number of times I have met her (did I mention she lives in another state?) and they got married last summer. I have never even talked to her two kids, an 11 year old girl and a 13 year old boy. I havent even met the girl. I met the boy once. So, my dad and I fight. A lot. I hate the things he's done to me and my family. He tore me apart. And I can't forgive him for it. It's too hard. I'll never be able to accept her as my step-mom (which is a word i never use) because I will never respect a woman who got involved with a married man. My dad was still technically married when he started dating her.

So I don't hate him because he is still my dad. but things have changed between us. I used to be closer to him than anyone and I never saw the divorce coming. Now it will never be the same. My sister is lucky...she's already in college. I have to be here, alone, without her support, dealing with all of this. And i hate it. Because everytime i try to tell my dad exactly what he's done to me, he doesn't listen. He doesn't care what i think. he just does whatever he wants. he is in his own happy little world and nothing can break him out of it. Thats what i wrote in my poem.
