Screamstep growled again.
"No time to chat, we have to make sure they don't know." With that, she padded after Tangletail, pricking her ears and eavesdropping.

"Mama! Why did we come to DeathClan!" Whisperkit looked so innocent. Tangletail's rage only grew.
"I brought you to visit me." She smiled, though it came out in a smirk full of needles. They shrunk.

Shatterpaw sat and waited. In every line of the kits faces, all she could see was lies and betrayal. They needed to die for the sake of the Clan.

Her claws unsheathed.
"Flamekit, come here, darling." The small and frightened kit came forward, only to be slashed over the throat, instantly killing the kit. His siblings gasped and Tangletail leaped for them and bit Whisperkit's head all the way off, decapitating her.
The last was only slung against a tree, breaking it's neck.
She snarled when it was over, her mouth and claws stained with her kits blood.

Blackdeath's smirked turned even more icy as each kit died, one by one. "I think the old Tanglestar is back." he meowed, purring like an amused kit--which, in this case to him, was amusing.

Shatterpaw watched Tangletail's face. She couldn't see any trace of regret. That was good. Much more like the Tangletail she had used to know. She gazed at the dead kits. "Excellent."

Screamstep watched unmoved by the sight.
"All we have to do now is find out Whitekit's choice and either let Tangletail kill her or let them both stay."

She growled loudly, followed by a fierce snarl. "Where' Fallenleaves! I'll kill him!" Her claws slashed at a tree. She felt bloodthristy, wanting to kill more than any other feeling.
"I'll shred his fur and give it to a twoleg! I'll shove his intenstines down his throat and make him choke to death!" She kept repeated gruesome images that made her smile slightly with each one, but they weren't enough for her. She wanted to actually feel Fallenleaves' flesh rip through her claws. She dug them into the dirt, trying to pretend as best she could.

A smile curled up Shatterpaw's face. This was so much more like Tangletail. Revenge was good. But she was still skeptical about her leaving fallenleaves after they had professed such love. But her anger was the real thing. She truly hated him now. And that was good.
Shatterpaw nodded. "Yes." Then she turned to look at Screamstep. "But what now? Am I becoming a warrior now, or..." she glanced at Tangletail. "Or later?"

"In time..." Blackdeath muttered to Tangletail, "But while we wait: calm the hell down."
Unlike other cats, Blackdeath knew many swear words, words Twolegs used, considering he was once a kittypet, though they didn't know that, and he didn't really plan on telling them that unfortunate fact about his life, either.

"Fallenleaves will probably be back for you later. And I maybe wait another few days Shatterpaw. Clearly Tangletail wants to train you for a bit."

Shatterpaw nodded to Screamstep. She was disappointed yet not at the same time. She would have to wait longer to become a warrior...but she had a chance to train with Tangletail again. And the real Tangletail, not the pathetic cat who had run away with her love. Despite her betrayal, Shatterpaw knew that Tangletail was a fierce warrior. She could still learn some things. She nodded. "Alright."

"This is one crazy bitch..." he added under his breath, getting to his paws and looking at the group of cats. Everyone seemed to be surprised to have their leader back. The ginger tom himself was surprised that Tangletail had the guts to come back, after what she did.
