*crouches low and scurries off, searching despretly for an exit. she began to feel safer the further she got away from that strange black cat sweetsnow acualy seemed to be conversing with. she narrowed her eyes against the smoke...there? no....there? no....there? goes towards the back corner of the camp, this was less trafficed than the middle of the camp. (we're in camp right?) the smoke is less here, she stands up higher, there? yes!*

*runs back to the other two, being forced lower to be able see as she neared.* i found a place! i found a place! its near the back of the camp! come on! in the corner, there a space thats weak enough to get through, we can scrape away some of the surrounding stuff and squeeze through! *starts back to the spot waiting for them to follow* (im just gonna rp sweetsnow fro tis acocunt, to lazy to log bak on to her)

Goldenpaw nodded, and in a quick movement ducked down and catapulted through the gap. She skidded out on the other side, where there was a narrow path through the flames. She called back, "Hurry! We don't have much time!"

Goldenpaw helped the two cats to their feet. "After everyone is through, we're going to have to run. The fire is closing in on us from both sides fast. We have to make it to the river before it does."

*limps over to the hole and crawls halfway through, her weight shifts and she falls out the rest of the way.* ahhh, ooowww *gets up and limps over to them*

Whitepaw growled in annoyance. The pond was surrounded by cats of the two different Clans. SoulClan had come as well. She'd much rather just watch them burn in the fire.

Stormheart followed after Sweetsnow and Spottedpaw, giving them a minute to get through the flames before she did. "Where to now?" She asked.

At last, StarClan stood and flicked their tails. You may return, a resounding voice told Whisperstar. It seemed to belong to thousands of cats, yet it was one voice. The clearing faded and Whisperstar woke with a gasp. Immediately she inhaled smoke and started coughing. She stood and looked around. She saw the tail end of Goldenpaw and Stormheart disappearing into the smoke and she raced after them. She caught up with them just as they reached the pond. Her throat was so raw from the smoke she couldn't even speak and just took a long drink from the pond.

Stormheart coughed once, and backed away. "Well, I should be going," she said.

Goldenpaw stared at Stormheart. "Don't be stupid. The fire is closing in on us fast, there's only one way out." She nodded her head in the direction of a single unburned path through the forest, with two walls of fire quickly moving in. Goldenpaw saw Whisperstar emerge. "Okay everyone, we have to move fast. We don't have much time. Follow me, let's go!" She turned and fell into a run. If we don't hurry, the fire will close in on us...and we'll be trapped.

Whisperstar looked up as Stormheart disappeared. She didn't really know what to make it it. She turned in a circle, searching for Dogfang. "Is every cat here?" she called as loudly as she could.

After a few minutes of running and coughing, Stormheart's whiskers got singed by the fire. "Great, it's almost at the pond," she said, and turned back.
"It's almost here, it's coming up from behind us," Stormheart told Whisperstar, coughing.

Goldenpaw watched Stormheart turn and run off into the forest, but kept running. She had to lead the cats out, but her face fell. Why does she keep leaving us? Why would she leave her home for a place...like DeathClan? I just don't understand... She held back a sob, and lifted her head. "Come on, keep going! We're almost there!"

Whisperstar looked at Stormheart for a heartbeat. Do I trust her? She looked around quickly. The pond was very big, almost a small lake. And there was a sort of marshy island in the center...it wasn't very big, but it would work. But cats would have to swim. "Listen up, everyone!"
