Organizing Patrols

Dogfang stepped into the clearing feeling the sun on his pelt. What a wonderful day. Might as well tell these lazy excuses for warriors to go on patrol cause they're to stupid to do it themselves. he though to himself. '' Why are you all just sitting here? It's a perfect day for patrols. Who will lead one? '' he mewed loudly so everyone in the clearing could hear. '' The fresh kill pile could be full by now if you all didn't just sit around! '' he said then washed his paw. Dogfang liked to give orders to the other cats as if he was in charge for he thought that he should be in charge.

Goldenpaw narrowed her eyes. Who does he think he his? But she didn't really have anything to do. "I'll go hunting, anyone want to join?"

[Clemence]

Whisperstar heard Dogfang's voice from outside her den. Good, she thought, pleasantly surprised. Dogfang is taking the initiative, and getting the Clan organized. Maybe he... she stopped the thought. She had very limited time before she had to choose a new deputy. Who could it be?

'' Out of all you warriors an apprentice volenteers! Some great warriors you are! '' he snarled at the other cats. '' Goldenpaw go hunting. Lets see how much prey you can bring back. '' he said rather savagely to the appretice. '' What are you waiting for go! '' he snarled.

Dogfang looked at the cat with a disgusted look. '' And who are you ? '' he asked with a look on his face as if the cat had roled in dung.

"New clan member." saidie's heart sank. Everyone kept on looking at her like a aleon...

[dogfang]

'' Ever heard of a true warrior name Sadie (( sorry if I spelled it wrong )) '' he sneered. '' And is that a hint of kitty pet I smell on you? '' he said with a nasty snarl on his face. '' I didn't know kittypets knew how o hunt. I thought they only sat in their cozy little homes stuffing themselves. '' he said taunting the she~cat. (( just for the record Im not really like Dogfang! I doing this for the plot! ))

Whisperstar sighed and shook the moss out of her fur. She padded out of her den and headed over to where Dogfang stood facing Saidie. The former kittypet looked scared and dismayed. "Dogfang!" She called sharply. "Saidie has come to join SoulClan as a warrior. You will treat her with the respect of a fellow Clanmate."

[dogfang]

Dogfang turned to look at his leader. He respected the she~cat a lot. But she earned her respect! he thought to himself. '' My apoligies Whisperstar. But I will give this kittypet respect when she earns it. '' he said bowing his head to his leader to hide his glare at Saidie.

Saidie sighed. She knew there would be some downsides to being a part of this clan. But, she can be a strong warrior. If she tried. Saidie smiled.

[Clemence]

Whisperstar knew what he said wasn't particularly polite, but a lot of cats would expect the same of Saidie. She must prove herself ten times more than a Clan-born cat, just to have cats trust her, Whisperstar realized sadly. But there was nothing she could do about it. She couldn't command Dogfang and the others to have respect. "Very well, Dogfang. How are the patrols going?"

[dogfang]

'' Don't worry Whisperstar, I will make her welcome. '' he said flashing a forced smile to Saidie. Boy will I break her down. But I guess I have to give her props for talking back to me... he thought actully looking at her. She was quite beutiful he relized. But she's a kittpet! he thought angerly to himself. He rounded on the kittypet once Whisperstar had turned away. '' I will break you down little kittypet. You'll wish you never left your soft little home when I'm done with you! '' he hissed softly under his breath to her then whipped away after Whisperstar.

((Uh shouldn't Saidie be an apprentice since she has never learned how to be a warrior?))
Thornclaw hears Dogfang and rolls his eyes. There goes mister bossy. "I'll go on the patrol too. I'll get Joypaw to come too. A little review with Saidie won't hurt." He heads over to the apprentice den and says, "Hey, Joypaw, come on. We're going on a patrol with Saidie." Then he turns around, leaves the den, and waits beside Saidie.

Saidie followed.

((no she's old enough to be a warrior, so she'll just learn how with other warriors.))

(( oh ya my bad )) Dogfang padded after Whisperstar. '' I made Saidie feel very welcome Whisperstar. Sorry about my behavior. But really Whisperstar? Brining a kittypet into the clan? '' he said as respectfully as he could. '' But on a happier note things are running well. We have a hunting patrol about to set off.... '' he trailed off as a picture of Saidie flashing in his mind. Stupid kittypet he thought to himself. '' But Whisperstar I don't think I should have to remind you, a deputy is needed. '' he mewed quietly remembering Fallenleaves.

Saidie walked and smelled rabbit.... " I think I smell a rabbit! Can I catch it?"
