Joypaw

[Clemence]

Whisperstar touched noses with Joypaw. This was such a special day for the young cat. She couldn't wait to hear what Joypaw thought of the name she had come up with. I hope she likes it! Whisperstar called SoulClan together and began.

"I, Whisperstar, leader of SoulClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. JJoypaw, do you promise to follow the warrior code and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

Joypaw answered solemnly and determined: "I do."

Whisperstar smiled. "Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your warrior name. Joypaw, from this day forth you will be known as Joysong, for the unbreakable optimism that shines for the whole world to see. StarClan honors your courage and determination and we welcome you as a full warrior of SoulClan."

Joypaw was so excited she could scarcely breathe. Taking a deep breath, she listening solemnly and determinedly, keeping her ocean blue gaze trained on her leader. When she announced her warrior name as Joysong, she inwardly gave a leap for joy. I love my new name, I really love it! As the Clan chanted her new name, "Joysong! Joysong!", she lifted her head and stared proudly around the Clan, hardly believing it. I did it! I really did it! I'm a warrior now!! She now would be sleeping in the warrior's den with Goldenshard, Stormheart, and all the other warriors. But first, she must sit vigil. Grinning widely as ever, she padded up to her former mentor Thornclaw, and whispered, "I did it, Thornclaw! I really did!" Her name fit her better than ever at this moment, and her eyes began to dance, as if all the ocean were celebrating this day.

"Joysong! Joysong!" Lionpaw yelled happily, louder than the rest. She watched as the excited, newly-made warrior walked up to her former mentor. Someone she hoped she would get to be a warrior just like Joysong. She would be fierce, loyal, and brave.

Spottedsun sat close by, her eyes shining for the new warrior, Joysong. She'd worked very hard to become a warrior, fighting in more battles than nearly any other apprentice. Her knew name really fit her; Whisperstar had make a wonderful choice. She grinned widely as Joysong bounced over to her previous mentor, Thornclaw. "Joysong! Joysong!"

The name made her think of Faithsong. Had Joysong secretly wished for this so she could avenge Faithsong's death? Had Whisperstra known? Now she'd be with her, Goldenshard, and Thornclaw, and Stormheart! What a wonderful day this'd be for the new ginger warrior. Spottedsun beamed with joy.

[Creampaw~Silentfeather]

Creampaw chatted for Joysong. "Joysong!! YAY!! congrats Joysong!!!" Then she looked at Whisperstar. "When am i going to get my mentor Whispertstar?" She asked with calmness but so happy for Joysong. then she giggled. She was whispering some happy things then looked at Joysong. Then she looked at Lionpaw and Spottedsun. "Isn't this awesome? Joysong is a warrior!!" She meowed to them both. Then Creampaw fell very silent. She closed her eyes and did a light calm smile. Then she opened her eyes again. "This is a happy day, we should celebrate!" She whispered.

[Thorn//\\Dark||Shimmer]

Thornclaw's golden-yellow eyes sparkled with happiness. When Joysong came up to him and said, "I did it, Thornclaw! I really did!" he smiled and murmured, "I always knew you could, Joysong." Then he purred and chanted her new warrior name. "Joysong!! Joysong!!! Joysong!!!!"
Then he looked up at the sky and thought, I know that you're proud of us, Moonstream!!

[Golden /~/ Shatter]

Goldenshard grinned as Joysong received her warrior name. She could see the happiness in her eyes and she touched noses with Whisperstar. Joy had worked really hard, and for such a long time. She was due to become warrior, and she really deserved it. And to make things even better, she would be in the warrior's den now, with everybody else! It is going to be so much fun to be able to Den with Joy again...everyone's going to love it!

Goldenshard's voice yowled up to join the others. "Joysong! Joysong! Joysong!"

[Creampaw~Silentfeather]

Creampaw looked around then padded back to the boring old apprentices den. "Back to my stop o' doom!" She giggled Then she looked back to see the caln cerebrating With Joysong. Creampaw smiled, "What a wonderful clan..." Then she turned back and walked in the apprentices den.

[Clemence]

Whisperstar heard Creampaw's words. "Oh, forgive me, Creampaw. It must've slipped my mind." She flicked her tail at the newly-named Joysong, beckoning her forward. "I know this is unusual, but Joysong is mature beyond her years. She will mentor Creampaw."

Creampaw looked up."huh?"

Joysong came foward as Whisperstar beckoned her, her ginger fur still groomed carefully. When she heard her leader's words, a gasp escaped from her. She looked up at Whisperstar, disbelief clouding her usually lively gaze. "Me? A mentor?" She leaned foward and touched noses with Creampaw. "I'll do my best with her. I promise." she meowed solemnly. She was going to take her training seriously, but it was going to be a lot of fun, too. Joysong grinned at her new apprentice happily.

Spottedsun beamed again, but this time there was more of a lively feeling in her heart. She'd been hiding it for a long, long time. But it was here again... And as it fluttered around like the calls of her Clanmates, it scraped at the egdes of her heart, making her wince. What was this pain? What was with this strange sadness, yet happiness at the same time, that wanted yowl for the sake of being heard? Had Spottedsun forgotten about something extremely important?

She turned her head around, spotting Shimmerpaw, Goldenshard, Stormheart, Thornclaw, Sandheart, Flamepaw, and Whisperstar calling Joysong and Creampaw's names. Thankfully, her friends and daughters were safe. Angleing her head some, she could see a little bit into the Nursery; Tanglekit was fine. Glancing back at Joysong, the pain was harsher, making her want to remember...

Not wanting to look impolite, she gulped, calling, "Joysong! Creampaw! Joysong! Creampaw!"

[Wind:.*.:Stone]

Windpaw purrs happily, glad that her friend had gotten her warrior name, and an apprentice.
"Joysong!" She calls out proudly, joining the chant. "Creampaw!" Windpaw's blue eyes spark in determination as she looks up at the pair, hoping that soon that would be her getting her warrior name, and soon after that, her first apprentice.

Her eyes grew huge as she heard taht Joysong was her mentor. Joysong was the coolest cat ever! Now her mentor! This was awesome! She asked Joysong, her new mentor."when can we start?!" She asked then she looked at everyone calling there names.

[Golden /~/ Shatter]

Goldenshard grinned at Creampaw's surprise. She is a lucky cat that she gets to be mentored by Joysong. She's a good cat, and even if she did just become a warrior, she'll do great! Joysong had been an apprentice for a long while, and had been equal to a warrior for awhile too. Even though she was a little inexperienced, Goldenshard knew she would do great. She dipped her head, grinning, to congratulate her friend on her new apprentice. Perhaps they would be able to train their apprentices together! Goldenshard now added Cream's name to her chant.

"Creampaw! Joysong! Creampaw! Joysong!"
