Whisperstar purred and touched her nose to Goldenpaw's for a heartbeat. She was so happy to finally make the young apprentice a warrior. Goldenpaw deserved it, had proved herself ready to be a great warrior time and time again. Now, it was time to finally reward her. Whisperstar turned and leaped to the top of Highrock. She tipped her head and raised her voice, calling to her Clan.
"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath the Highrock for a Clan meeting!"
As the Clan gathered, Whisperstar watched Goldenpaw. The apprentice was shivering with anticipation and excitement. Whisperstar smiled to herself, remembering the day when she had been made a warrior, and how proud her mentor, Blackflame had been. Her eyes searched the cats now, and found Spottedsun's mottled pelt. Her best friend was practically bursting with pride. Both of them deserve this, Whisperstar thought, purring for mentor and apprentice. They've done a fantastic job.
Once the assembled cats had quieted, Whisperstar rose to her paws on Highrock. She raised her voice once more.
"I, Whisperstar, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Goldenpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your own life?"

After Goldenpaw had touched noses with Whisperstar, she followed her leader over to the High Rock. Other cats began to gather at the sound of their Leader's voice, and the apprentice shivered with anticipation. She was so freaking excited. Goldenpaw knew what was coming, had waited moons for it. Her face was glowing and she had a huge grin across her face. Becoming a warrior was all she'd ever wanted, her whole life. Ever since she was a kit, she had been focused on one thing: becoming a truly great SoulClan warrior. She had trained, even when alone, even as a kit, waiting for this moment. And now it was finally here. She would finally be able to call herself a warrior, and prove to her Clan that she would be their best protector.
As Whisperstar called her name, asking her to uphold the warrior code, Goldenpaw's eyes shone with her fierce determination.
"I do."

Whisperstar smiled. She knew how determined Goldenpaw was to be the best warrior ever.
"Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your warrior name. Goldenpaw, from this day forth you will be known as Goldenshard. StarClan honors your courage and determination and we welcome you as a full warrior of SoulClan!"
Whisperstar leaped down from Highrock and laid her muzzle on top of the newly-named Goldenshard and the voices of her Clan echoed around camp. Whisperstar stepped back and added her voice to the calls.
"Goldenshard! Goldenshard! Goldenshard!"

As Goldenpaw listened to the words of her Leader, she heard her new name for the first time. Goldenshard. As her name was spoken for the first time, Goldenshard felt a tingle go through her, as if StarClan themselves had been watching her Ceremony. She was a Warrior of SoulClan now. My dream...my whole life....I've got it now!!!
Whisperstar jumped down from the Highrock, and Goldenshard licked her shoulder in respect. Then Whisperstar stepped back and began to chant her name along with the rest of the Clan. Goldenshard met eyes with Spottedsun and grinned hugely. I couldn't have done it without you! Goldenshard was so happy...she'd be able to fight as a warrior and show how great of a fighter she truly was!

"Goldenshard! Goldenshard! Goldenshard!" Joypaw was so happy for the young warrior. She loved her new name.
"Goldenshard! Goldenshard! Goldenshard!" Faithsong joined in the chants.

Spottedsun smiled at her previous apprentice, who's blue eyes were blooming with pride. Goldenshard couldn't have been a better apprentice, and deserved each and every moment of this ceremony. She pulled herself up, yellow-green eyes darting to the three sleeping kits. They'd grown fast and Spottedsun couldn't believe her eyes. She slowly walked toward the new warrior, tail waving happily. Her paw-steps weren't very shaky, but it still felt like she was walking on a long branch. As she stood face to face with Goldenshard, she could see the beautiful she-cat up close. Her blue eyes sparkled beyond amazment, golden ginger-striped pelt with snowy white patches glistening in the moonlight. "Congratulations, Goldenshard. I'm proud of as though you were my own kit. Help defend SoulClan with your mighty courage and unbreakable strength." She dipped her head to the she-cat, and blended into the crowd, chanting along with them, "Goldenshard! Goldenshard!"

(AH!! So cute I want to die! XD)
As Spottedsun padded up to Goldenshard and the new warrior heard her words, Goldenshard felt as if she would burst with pride. She had done her mentor proud! Spottedsun had been the best mentor she could have dreamed of, taught her new battle techniques she otherwise never would have known. And through all of it, Spottedsun had become one of her best friends. Goldenshard smiled and laughed. "Aww, Spottedsun!" Her eyes shone. "That means a lot." Then she grinned hugely again. "Don't worry Spottedsun, I'll protect the whole Clan, you, and your kits! Everything will be safe on my watch!" She smiled, dipping her head in thanks to the cats chanting her name around her. Being a warrior is the best thing in the world!

(Sandheart)
Sandheart grinned from her den. Another new warrior! Goldenshard had deserved the naming ceremony. She'd proven warrior material ever since she was a kit Sandheart knew that for sure. Padding up closer, she began cheering as loud as the others.
"Goldenshard, Goldenshard!" She finally stopped then padded up to the new warrior. She'd just finished talking to Spottedsun. "Congratulations, Goldenshard." She purred. "But you must keep a vigil tonight. And that means no talking." Her eyes gleamed. "You really deserved this." She smiled then padded away. Sandheart had never really spoken with Goldenshard, she was always wrapped up in her medicine cat duties. She'd barley gotten to do anything really, so this was a good thing too, to be able to participate in watching the ceremony.

Goldenshard smiled as Sandheart came up. Though she didn't get to speak to Sandheart much because she was always working as a medicine cat, Goldenshard had great respect for her. She would never have been able to remember all those herbs, or fix all the wounds of injured cats. At Sandheart's words, Goldenshard grinned nodded vigorously. "Of course! And I'll remember not to talk, promise." Then Sandheart padded away. No talking will be tough, Goldenshard grinned, but I can handle it. I've been waiting for this vigil my whole life!

Whisperstar laughed, hearing Sandheart and Goldenshard's words. "Goldenshard, are we going to have to stuff your mouth with moss to keep you from talking tonight? I don't think you'll be able to manage it on your own," she teased. Whisperstar looked up at the sky. It was already sunset, the sky stained pretty fire colors. "Your vigil starts as soon as the sun dips below the horizon," she told Goldenshard, serious for a moment. "This vigil is important, remember." Then her voice was teasing again. "Shall I go fetch some moss for you? Or a fat mouse?" Whisperstar laughed.

As Whisperstar came over to her, Goldenshard grinned. "Oh come on, Whisperstar, you don't have more faith in me than that? I feel so hurt." She smiled, laughing. "I might need moss...really!" As Whisperstar looked up to the sky, Goldenshard did too. The sun was a half circle on the horizon, and the soft blues of night were fading into the sky. Looking back, Goldenshard took the rest of Whisperstar's teasing, and grinned. "I think I'll be able to manage without that moss, Whisperstar. I can do this for one night!" Then her smile fell and Goldenshard's face turned rarely serious. "I know how important this vigil is..." She dipped her head and turned to pad away. "I will see you tomorrow morning."

Saidie heard the clan chant from the clearing. She chanted with all her might, goldenshard! Goldenshard! She always wanted a warrior name..... But apparently, the clan just thinks, Saidie is a good name for me. But I WILL get a warrior name! I promise! She thought to herself as her kits were squirming around. Sorrelkit was mewling to the chant. Coalkit mewled too. It was like a beautifull melody to saidie's ears.

Redrose smiled at the new warrior. "Goldenshard! Goldenshard!" She called with the rest of the clan. The scene brought back memories of her old clan, of the day she had reseived her own warrior name. The memories were so vivid she could practically smell her old clanmates. Realizing she had spaced out, Redrose shook her head, her fur fluffing out a little. Starclan be with you in every pawstep you take. She thought, passing Goldenshard on her way to the shadowed warrior's den. Yawning, she ducked into the dark of the den, using her sense of smell to locate an unused nest. Taking careful steps so as not to disrupt the other mossy nests she layed down in a far corner. Her fluffly tail wrapped around her body and rested on her little pink nose. It wasn't long before her breathing was slow and even, her senses lost in the world of sleep.
