"No....." Tanglepaw meowed, wondering if her mentor was going to teach her this special skill.
It wasn't often that a forest cat learned how to catch a rabbit by a WindClan cat themselves.

Tanglepaw's ears pricked as she heard a loud thumping noise.
"I think I hear one...." She meowed quietly, and watched as a rabbit hopped into view, a couple of fox-lengths away from the two cats.

now you need to be very quiet and at the very last moment pounce on it

Tanglepaw nodded, and started to creep up on it.
At once, she pounced, but the rabbit was too fast for her. The brown ball of fur jumped away quickly into the undergrowth.
Tanglepaw hissed in annoyance as she smelled the scent of rabbit fading from her jaws.

runs after the rabbit and grabs it comes back to his apprentice eats the rabbit alright then its ok it takes years for a soulclan cat to master catching rabbits

Tanglepaw nodded sulkily, and scented another rabbit close by. Apparently her mentor noticed it too because his ears twitched.
"I smell another one!" Tanglepaw meowed hopefully.

Tanglepaw nodded more confidentally at her mentor.
She saw the rabbit bounce into view on the other side of the clearing. She crept downwind, towards it.
At the last moment, she pounced, and the rabbit started to hop away. Luckily, Tanglepaw was fast enough this time.
She ran after it quickly, and caught up to it. She pounced once again, this time being able to kill it.
She looked up triumphly at her mentor, the limp hare dangling from her jaws.

"Okay!" Tanglepaw purred.
She walked up to her mentor and sheathed her claws. Jumping up, she hauled herself over Shadowheart. As her chance at his confusion, she stood up on her hind paws, and as she batted his muzzle with a sheathed claw.
"How was that?" She meowed, smiling at her sucesses
