Spottedsun pushed her off, getting up and shaking her fur. "Good, good. Now, you seem to have that move down, so well done. Okay, now for the Leap and Hold. This is different. It's perfect for a small cat -like you- facing a larger opponent -like me-. Spring onto yout opponent's back and grip them with unsheathed claws. Now you are beyond range of you opponent's paws and in position to inflict severe body wounds. A group of apprentices can defeat a large and dangerous warrior this way. Watch for the drop-and-roll countermove, and try to jump free before you get squashed." She showed her by suddenly leaping up onto her back and gripping it with barely unsheathed claws. She readied to leap off of her if she tried to roll and squish her. "Got it?"

Goldenpaw nodded. It was important to know what move to use when facing a larger opponent. "Got it!" As Spottedsun was still on her back, Goldenpaw decided to buck her off instead of dropping and rolling. The warrior fell off Goldenpaw's back, and she whirled around. She jumped onto Spottedsun's back, gripping fur with her claws barely unsheathed, and put her teeth to the back of her mentor's neck. "Like that?" She grinned.

She wriggled around, quickly shaking Goldenpaw off. "Right! Just be careful for what I did, and of course the cat try to squish you." She grinned.

Goldenpaw nodded, and noted the two tips. "Yeah, its probably a lot harder in battle when the other cat actually wants to kill you!" Goldenpaw grinned.

Spottedsun chuckled, "You have no idea." She thought back to the time when she was fighting with Fang and his accomplices. She sighed and glanced back at Goldenpaw. "I guess we're finished for today. You did very well, and I'm very proud of you."

Goldenpaw grinned, bouncing with pleasure. She hadn't had this much fun in a loooong time...learning to fight was the best! "Thanks Spottedsun!"

Spottedsun grinned back at her, her eyes sparkling with happiness. "You're welcome. Now why don't we go back to camp and get some good ole rest so we can train tomorrow? How's that?"

Goldenpaw nodded. She knew how important it was to be rested and able to train. If you were asleep on your paws, you wouldn't be able to do anything! "Okay, sounds good!"

"Great!" She grinned and turned around to head back to camp. She kept a steady pace with Goldenpaw.

Spottedsun and Goldenpaw entered the camp, the evening turning swiftly into twilight. She heaved a sigh of tiredness and nodded to Goldenpaw before creeping over to the Warrior's Den. She found a nest and layed down, stretching out her aching paws. It had been a while since she'd done so much. She shamed herself; she wasn't being a proper warrior if she was this tired. She frowned and curled up into a little ball before falling off to sleep.

Spottedsun groaned and rolled to the other side. Her eyes barely opened, and she noticed Ghostshadow's blue eyes looking at her from the shadows. "Hey, Ghostshadow." She said sighing.

Goldenpaw padded away form her mentor over to the apprentice dens, and laid down. Though she was tired from all her exercise, she was hopped up on adrenaline. Taking deep breaths, she calmed herself. She couldn't wait for the next day!

Poppy padded through the under growth looking for Goldenpaw. She still had many more questions. I wonder how Soul Clan started.... Did Star Clan help them? Her ears angled towards noise. '' G- Goldenpaw? You th- there? '' She whispered nervously. She was still a little uneasy around the strange clan cats.

Poppy jumped at the sound of the voice. '' Oh Hello. I'm Poppy.... I was.... Was just looking around... '' She felt embarresed telling everybody about her questions that never seemed to end. '' Who are you? Are you De- Death Clan? '' The cat didn't smell like Death Clan but she wasn't sure around these cats. '' Because... Because I can take you on! '' She said knowing that wasn't very truthfull....
