Ok, here we are. The first thing you need to know, is that when hunting prey, you step lightly and approach them silently.
I'm sure the pack would've told you that too, because it's the same with wolves. *Gets serious* I'll see if I can mentor you, since I've already started and since I'm going to be taking care of you. *Smiles proudly and purrs*
But okay, yea, step lighly and make sure, listen carefully, *Makes sure he's paying attention* Make sure, that you are downwind from the prey. Because if you are upwind from the prey, then they can smell you. But another way, you can hide your scent, is to either roll in fox dung, the smellest but best way, or roll in damp ferns or in mud. Rolling in the mud or in the damp ferns keeps your pelt cleanier though, but yea. Remember, roll in something damp or stinky or stay downwind.
