Icepaw woke in a unfamiliar forest.
How did I get here...? She got to her paws, and shook herself. She started to wonder around aimlessly in the bright, green forest.
She heard a voice up ahead.
"Hello?" She cooed, hoping for a friendly response.

She gulps from fear as a twig breaks not far from her. She struggles to get the word out once more.
"Hello?" She said, this time more brave.

Lillykit padded along the river. Sneaking out had been easier than she had thought. Everyone was somewhere else so she just slipped out of the Nursery and into the woods.

Tangeltail emerges from the bushes, and her eyes widen as she sees a miniature version of Icewhisker.
"Icewhisker?" She whispers to herself, not loud enough for the young cat to hear.
Tangletail then smiled hugely at her.
"Welcome to SoulClan. It's nice to have you here." She smiled again, then walked over to the smaller she-cat.

Icepaw smiled.
"I'm Icepaw." She meowed softly. "I-...It's nice to be here."
She couldn't help but feel a connection with this cat.
"What are you?" She asked, then shook her head, realizing she had been rude. "I-In the Clan...I mean...?"

"I'm the Medicine Cat." She purred, sitting down beside the white she-cat.
"I'm Tangletail, and you are...?" She asked.
She tried to see the image of Icewhisker in her head, but she wasn't there....that wasn't really...normal...

"You want to be Medicine Cat Apprentice?" She asked. Icepaw whipped her head around, smiling, then nodded once.
"Yeah!" She purred.
