To The Moonpool

((Okay, most of you know, but for the ones who don't, I'm Icepaw, and Firefox doesn't rly like me, so I'm just gunna rp her on Tangletail. Okay? Okay? Okay.))

Tangletail smiled at her new apprentice. She couldn't help but feel it was about time she was to get one. (Even if it is herself, LOLZ! xD)
She purred unexpectantly as Icepaw came in the Medicine cat den.
"When are we going to start training?" She asked eagerly.
"Whenever you want." Tangletail replied. "We're on a shortage of mallow; we need to go and look for some." She got to her paws; icepaw was eager and willing to go.
"Exited much?" Tangletail asked sarcasticly, a chuckly under her breath.
"More than ever!" Icepaw replied. Tangletail once again saw Icewhisker in the small apprentice. She knew that Icepaw was Icewhisker, but the thought still gnawed at her. What if she wasn't; but it she was, there was a lot of explaining for StarClan to do...
Tonight, we need to get you to the Moonpool. It's the half-moon, and you need to get taken in as an apprentice. Are you sure you want this as your future?"
Icepaw nodded.
"Surer than sure." She stated, looking completly serious. Tangletail smiled, then nodded.

Tangletail and Icepaw just reached the Moonpool, and Icepaw -as anxious as ever - was ready to recieve her first dream from StarClan.
Once they entered the cave, the sparkling water literally lit up the room. This was unusual.
"Awesome...!" Icepaw whispered, astonsished by the power of StarClan.
"Oh, they can do much more than you know." Tangletail whispered in her same tone, then walked up to the ice cold pool.
"Touch your nose to it, and StarClan will grant you with rest; only then will they send you a message."
Icepaw nodded, and - without hesitation - touched her nose to the water. In seconds, the snow-white apprentice in a deep sleep, her usual snoring disappeared.
Tangletail stared at her, wondering what type of dream she could be experiancing.
She too, touched the water, and was out in seconds.

~quikly darts through the feilds of windclan, leaping up the rocky slope to moonpool, she aproches the cave shining briliantly, her eyes widen she had only seen this once before....leafpools cerimony, she grew cold and ran above to the top of the mountain contemplating, wishing starclan had chosen another and that hse could tell, oh if only she could tell!~

Icepaw stared out into a meadow lit up by starlight. She looked up to see the stars were closer than usual, and she gulped. She felt a strange sence of dei ja vu, but she couldn't tell from where.
"Hello?" She asked, then a bright pair of warm amber eyes stared at her. A torishell she-cat appeared from the mist, and she smiled warmly at Icepaw.
"Hello, young one." She meowed; her voice sounded as sweet as honey. "I'm Spottedleaf, former Medicine Cat of ThunderClan."
Icepaw couldn't beleive what she was hearing, but she just smiled back; she couldn't help it.
"I'm -" She was cut off by Spottedleaf.
"Icepaw. I know everything about you, young one." She purred, her warm smile not fading. She came to sit beside the white apprentice.
"Do you know who you truly are?" She asked, her voice no more than a mere whisper.
"What do you mean?" Icepaw asked, then recalled when she was first cast down into the forest. All she could remember was that she woke in the forest, and she was left with the only name in her mind. Icepaw. So that came to be her name.
"N-...no." She admitted, looking at the ground.
"Do you know who Tangletail truly is?" She asked again; this made Icepaw look up.
"What do you mean?" She repeated.
"You and Tangletail are literally one." She looked up at the close-starred sky.
"She is the reancarnation of you're being. You're Icewhisker. She used to be part of Tangletail, but that part is now you." She explained. Icepaw was still confused, but she nodded.
"Oh." She turned her gaze back to the ground.
"You're following Icewhisker's footsteps you know. Being a Medicine Cat, and all." She purred.
"Nice to know that I'm not truly me..." Icepaw sighed.
Spottedleaf laughed.
"It's not about where you come from, dear one." She sighed. "It's about what you're doing now." She emphasized the word "now."
"Now is more important that the past; or future." She smiled again. "Don't concentrate on that. Concentrate on every second. Every milisecond of your lifetime, because it can be taken away any second, do you understand?"
"Yes. I understand." Icepaw meowed.
"Good." Spottedleaf meowed, then she started to fade.
"I'll be seeing you, Icepaw." She purred. "More than you know."
Then, she was gone. She disappeared in the dust, leaving Icepaw all alone in the clearing. She then awoke with a start. Tangletail was still sleeping; curled into a tight ball. All Icepaw could do was wait for her mentor to awake so she could have her ceremony to become a full Medicine Cat Apprentice.

Tangletail stared into a rocky cliff-face. She looked around, then saw nothing.
Then, the usual black she-cat that she saw in her StarClan dreams appeared.
"Shadowstar." Tangletail dipped her head in greeting. "It's nice to see you."
Shadowstar didn't make any exprecion.
"Icewhisker...she's made a full recovery. She's in another body, her own."
"But how?" Tangletail asked, adgitation in her voice; Shadowstar could tell.
"Calm down." She ordered. Tangletail's head drooped, and she apologized. Shadowstar nodded.
"Icewhisker's strong. What really brought her strenght through was the sorrow and joy of Silvermoon's disappearance, and her reappearance."
Tangletail looked up, her eyes full of curiousity.
"Her strength let her into another form? Her original form? How come I'm still standing then? I thought that I was Icewhisker's form." Tangletail asked, staring the very first ShadowClan leader right in the eyes.
"That was to be thought. I'm sorry to be straight up with you, but you were just a - how do I put this? - replacement; a temporary form for Icewhisker; for her to regain her strength. Then, she took a liking to you. She had grown used to you." She added, this making Tangletail feel a little brighter.
"She didn't want you to be all alone, so she decided to do everything in her power to let you live. She won." Shadowstar said, jumping up onto a rock.
"Icepaw's going to be a great accomplishment for SoulClan, but there are few exeptions."
"What are those?" Tangletail immidiatly asked. Shadowstar shook her head.
"That I do not know."
Tangletail let out a growl, then shook her head. "Impossible..." She muttered. Icewhisker loved her so much, that she kept her alive; usuing everything she had.
"Me and Icepaw....we're the same being?" Tangeltail meowed, astonished by her assumption.
"Pretty much."
Tangletail gulped. Shadowstar smiled at her.
"Don't worry. Everything's going to wind up okay, but I must warn you." Her voice turned grave.
"Icepaw holds an unexplainable power, - and don't ask me because I don't know." She added, a light laugh on her voice. Tangletail grunted in unsatisfaction.
"Well, Tangletail, sorry not to give you any more information than I have, but you should know it." Shadowstar meowed as her being started to fade.
"You're better than you know, too, Tangletail." She purred. "You need to have some more self esteam. You deserve it." She purred, then faded.

Tangletail awoke to find Icepaw staring directly in the starry water; she hadn't known she was awake yet.

*Silverleaf waited to escort Wolfsong, Icepaw, and Tangletail back to SoulClan territory. she sat in a tree by the Moonpool entrance patiently and silently, feeling the warmth of her younger brother and sister, she purred. she whispered to them* I wonder what its like in StarClan. "Its wonderful" answered Duststorm. "Yes, it is" Heatherclaw agreed happily* (i keep forgettin their names so i have to make new ones every time lol)
