It was cloudy. The Sunlight was blocked by the deep dark clouds sourounding the sky. A strong breeze raced into the queens den. Saidie shivered from the breeze flowing into her skin. It has been a while since she was first expecting beautifull kits. Now, they could come any day now. Saidie was so exited about the thought of little kits racing the nursery. All her's and Dogfangs! The thought of kits made saide even more exited than ever! Suddenly, Saidie felt a very unusuall feeling.... Something like.. her kits were squirming around! Saidie's kits were coming! Saidie felt a rush of exitement, but pain too. Saidie let out a loud meow, "My kits ARE COMING!!!!!!" She yelled it like she wanted the whole world to know. Saidie waited for a Medicine cat, but sandheart never came. That's it! It was half moon tonight! The Medicine cat was at the Moonpool, speaking to Starclan. Saidie felt another rush of pain run through her. She knew that her kits woudent wait much longer. Saidie suddenly remembered Spottedsun's birth. Saidie pushed as hard as she could. slowly but surley, a Calico she-cat with orange spots came out. Saidie licked the kit throughtly. sadie Felt another kit inside of her.
A black Tom Came out quickly. sadie quickly picked up the kit and licked him. Saidie watched as she saw her two little kits squirming around attempting for Milk. Suddenly, saidie knew the name of the she-cat. Sorrelkit saidie made a promise to Dogfang that he could name the tom. Tired, but strong, saidie moved her two kits together. to get milk.
Sorrelkit mewled as she scenced her mother's body, Sorrelkit crawled over and looked for some milk. Completly out of evreything that is happining right now. She felt her brother's fur as he too, searched for milk. Then, Sorrelkit felt her first taste of wonderfull milk. Sorrelkit drank and drank untill she could not drink anymore. Sorrelkit yawned and sleped next to her mommy's belly. Sorrelkit purred.
Saide smiled at her new kits, Sorrelkit, and soon to be namedkit. Saidie was tired for just giving birth. Both of them seemed strong, A rush of happiness ran through them. Wait untill Dogfang sees our new, wonderfull, heathy, kits. sadie smiled in exitement.

Starpaw shuffled up the herbs in the Medicine cat den.With saidie so close to kitting,sandheart left starpaw behind.Arguing hadn't done starpaw any good.Starpaw checked on saidie and went out to look for parsley and borage,meaning that they were getting low.Starpaw padded out of the silent camp.Saidie had just been laying in her bedding silently and starpaw had failed to notice her uncomfort.Starpaw found the clumps right next to each other and gathered them.As she pushed through the bramble screen,something was wrong,or different.She raced over to the nurcery,only to stumble and drop her herbs,for right in front of her,Saidie lay,two tiny kits suckling at her belly."Wha...!"Starpaw stared in awe.The second kitting that she had missed!Shed never been at one and was at an inexpirienced level."Congradulations,saidie.Please,eat this borage and I'll bring you a mouce if you would like.I'll get dogfang,and we'll deal with the viewing later,once you get some rest!"SStarpaw mewed quickly,pushing borage under saidies muzzle and rushed off to get dogfang.She reached the den and quietly tip-toed over tto the black and white lump of fur.She nuzzled him softly and he lifted his head."Saidie has had her kits.Get her a mouse and stand guard."Dogfang bowed his head and scampered excitedly out of the den.Starpaw huffed tiredly,returning to the queens den.
Saidie~"Whats this?"Saidie asked softly,nosing at the parsley she had left in the den.
"Oh,please don't eat that!That stops your milk from coming!"Starpaw quickly pawed it away from the wide-eyed saidie.Starpaw took the parsley back to the med cat den and took a much needed rest.Boy,what a story shed have to explain to sandheart tomorrow:3!

Saidie lifted her head tiredly as she heard Starpaw's voice. " Hello Starpaw" spoke Saidie in a weak voice. Saidie looked at her kits. " These are Dogfang's two beautiful kits." she spoke proudly. "this big she-cat is Sorrelkit." Saidie points to the calico She-cat. " This little tom hasn't been named. Yet.." muemured Saidie. "and thank you Starpaw for the wonderfull herbs. Hopefully, they will help me a lot with milk." Saidie moved the borage over with her tail and slowly ate the bitter herbs. It tasted very bitter, but it was very good for her two little kits. Saidie looked at dogfang and smiled. " well, here are our two beautiful kits. We must name the little tom." Saidie whispered. She saw Sorrelkit bigger than most newborn kits. Just like her father.... the little black tom was smaller than a newborn kit. But he looked very healthy. He looked easy going and will get along with other kits. Saidie smiled to see both of her kits happy and healthy.
Sorrelkit mewled as she felt a cool breeze go agenst her.She shivered a lot a be ran to her mommy. Sorrelkit felt a lot warmer her by her mommy's belly. Sorrelkit fell asleep next to her brother and Mommy.
Saidie purred and saw Sorrelkit fall asleep. " She's going to be a very string cat..." murmured Saidie... Saidie suddenly felt very tired. Giving birth to kits really tired you out. Saidie murmured to Dogfang. " I'm tired..... I'm gonna go to sleep." saidie watched her mate walk out of the den. Soon after, saidie fell into a deep sleep.

Dogfang rushed into the nursery once he had heard Starpaw's newes, all tiredness leaving him. He stormed into the nursery, knocking his head on the enterence. '' Saidie! Oh Saidie! They're beautifull! '' he whispered looking at the kits. He smiled as he saw the large she~kit. '' I know her name... Sorrelkit... '' he whispered. '' She's just like me! '' he mewed happily. '' Oh and here's our little boy! '' me murmered happily laying down next to Saidie to block the draft. '' Ya know Saidie, he looks a bit like you with his black pelt. '' he said marvoling over his kits.
'' What should we name him... '' he wondered as he wrapped his tail around Saidie. '' He looks like a fluffy lump of coal... '' Dogfang said looking at his children, bursting with pride. '' Sorrelkit and Coalkit... '' he whispered. '' How do you like that Saidie? '' he said and looked up at his mate. She was starting to doze off. But he couldn't blame her, delivering kits was an exasting ordeal. '' I'm proud of you Saidie. '' he whispered to his mate as he curled up next to her and his new kits.

Saidie's eyes drooped. " Wonderfull. Sorrelkit and Coalkit." Saidie took one last glance at her two little kits and drifted off to sllep with them. In her dream, it was sunny. A warm breeze drafted through the fields. Saidie was running in the nice, warm current. Suddenly, Saidie saw two kits, hiding in the shadows. Are these kits. A gift from Starckan? Saidis saw the image of her Sorrelkit and Coalkit. She heated Starcoan chanting Sorrelkit's and Coalkit's name. A warm breeze rsn through the wind. This was surley a wonderfull dream.

Though all the excitement that had just happened, Dogfang felt sleep sneaking up on him like he would on a piece of prey. He gave one final glance at his family, Saidie, Sorrelkit and Coalkit. He smiled and drifted into sleep beside his mate. Soon he found himself in a sunny field. Saidie was beside him, he beautiful fur blowing in the breeze. Next to her was a skinny black tom. '' Coalkit.... '' he said looking at him. In his dream Coalkit wasn't a kit though, he was a warrior. Dogfang looked to his other side. He saw a calico she~cat as big as him, maybe even a little bigger, standing beside him. '' Sorrelkit... '' he said staring at her. They all started running across the field.
Then darkness came, as if the sun had dissapeared. He could barely make out the outline of his family. Then it got bright again, though it was still fairly dark. He looked around puzzeled. Coalkit, Sorrelkit and Saidie were gone. A feeling of forebiding crept over him. He heard footsteps all around him and laughter. He looked as hard as he could but there was no one there. There was no scent what so ever either. Then he felt cold grip, as if he had plunged into the lake in winter.
He woke with a start and looked around. He was still asleep beside Saidie and his kits. '' It was only a dream... '' he muttered to himself then layed his head back down and drifted into an uneasy sleep.

Saidie sudenly felt a rush in her and woke up with a start. saidie breathed heavally and saw her two kits still there. just a dream........ thought Saidie. It wasn't real. Saidie relaxed again so her kits could drink her milk again. Saidie watched them closely. Coalkit looked like the fastest one. But sorrelkit was the strongest one. Just like her daddy. Saidie smiled and saw their eyes were still closed. Completly oblivious to the outside world and her kits are already squirming around like little kids. Saidie purred and thought of when they will be all grown up and Saidie will cry when they leave the nursery. Sorrelpaw and Coalpaw........ Suddenly, a rush of nice, warm air flowed right through her thick fur. It was soothing.....
Sorrelkit drank her mother'ssweet milk. It was soooo tasty. The best thing she has EVER tasted in her life. Suddenly, Sorrelkit scenced Coralpaw pushing her over. Sorrelkit mewled and pushed him over for some more milk. /Sorrelkit felt Coalkit's little paws crawling for her. And Sorrelkit ran to a safe distance and tried to find more milk somewhere else. Sorrelkit found more milk and began sucking again. Her brother was NOT gonna make her starve to death. Sorrelkit heared other cats in the nursery. TOO many cats. Sorrelkit curled up and a ball and mewled for Her mommy.
Saidie let out a murrow of laughter. "I'm right here sorrelkit." Saidie grabs Sorrelkit gently by the scruff and ut her by her tummy for more milk. Saidie purred and still couldn't believe what just happened. Yesterday, she had no kits, Today, she has two beautifull kits, Sorrelkit and coalkit. Coalkit, the faster one and Sorrelkit, the strong one. They will become two wonderfull warriors.
Sorrelkit knew she was being picked up and squealed. She was very tired by the many cats picking her up. Suddenly, Sorrelkit noticed that she was put down. Sorrelkit mewled quietly that nobody exept her brother could her. When she felt him come, sorrelkit curled up in a ball and slept next to Coalkit. sorrelkit was happy and content.

Dogfang woke up again as he heard the sqeaks of his kits. He purred with amusement at the two little kits. Sorrelkit's gonna be like me. And Coalkit is gonna be swift. he thought proudly. '' Saidie, what are we gonna do when they're big warriors going out to fight for SoulClan? '' he asked her happily watching his kits squirm around searching for milk.
Coalkit wriggled around. The world dark to him. He crawled towards a sweet scent. Ah it was milk. He also smelled other things. He smelled what he was guessing to be a tom, a girl who was what the milky scent was coming from, and a scent quite like his. It was Sorrelkit, his sister. He tried to climb on top of her to find more milk but she was to big. Instead he mewled in his desperation to find milk again.
Dogfang smiled and picked up the black, mewling kit gently by the scruff. He set him down next to Saidie's now not bulging tummy. '' Drink up Coalkit, you need to be big and strong. '' he whispered, wondering if the kit could understand him.

Starpaw walked into the nursery."Ahhh.Doing well I take it?Sandheart should be back any time so just let her know if you need anything!Can I get you a mouse?Or even A poppy seed?Normaly its unsafe to give nursing queens med like that but one shouldn't do any harm."Starpaw purred as saidie drowsily nodded her head,not quite understanding anything .Starpaw went to the fresh kill pile,picked up a plump mouse,and set it at saidies paws.She entered the med cat den to see a total mess.Starpaw screeched loudly and paniced,"how am I suppose to clean this up bbefore sandheart gets back?Who did this anyways?"She shuffled as quickly as possible to clean up the mess.

Saidie purred and saw Coalkit desprately try to climb over Sorrelkit but failed. Saidie saw coalkit race over and get more milk. Saidie smiled and remembered if they went out to battle and never came back. Saidie shivered. But she had to let go of her kits and not smuggle them. Saidie smiled again.
Sorrelkit mewled highly as her brother tried to trample her. Sorrelkit crawled over to her mommy and mewled youldly as she was telling on Coalkit. Sorrelkit walked a few steps and then fell over. She landed with a loud, THUMP! Sorrelkit cried.
Saidie picked up Sorrelkit and licked Sorrelkit. It somwhat soothed Sorrelkit, because she calmed down and fell aslepp next to her mommy.
Saidie purred.
