" It's not your fault..." she sat next to Rippykit curling her tail around the small kit to keep her warm. *She curls up in her tail and coughs a bit.It sounding a bit raspy and her nose starts to run over a bit and she tries to wipe it clean* h..help me *she whimpers and gasps for air since her nose was now useless* |

*She spazzes a bit and cries out for her mother and she sneezes again before it gets reclogged and she cotinues to pant* wheres my mommy?!

Starpaw looked on helplessly. "Maybe some poppy seeds will help ease the pain," she mewed to Thornclaw.
And you call yourself a medicine cat? she thought, clearly fustrated. Your no use here, just like you weren't in ThunderClan! Why do you think they kicked you out??
She sighed. "But the poppyseeds might just kill her...but we can't let her go through all this pain..."

Starpaw stopped, thinking and recited, "Coltsfoot is used for shortness of breath. The medicine cat should chew the Coltsfoot into a thick, yet not too big, pulp. Then give it to the patient, let the patient eat it, then swallow and they should be able to breath more easily. And Feverfew is used for a cold or the chills."
Before anyone could stop her, the silver she-cat swiftly turned to the herbs Icepaw and Tangletail had collected earlier. Murmuring and muttering to herself, she choose two plant. One plant almost looked just like a leaf, but it was actually the Feverfew and the other, the Coltsfoot looked like just a plain stick.
Thinking carefully, Starpaw chewed both herbs up until finally both were a politice. She then put them on a leaf and swiftly picked up the sides of the leaf, and padded back over to Rippykit.
"Here, eat this." She murmured.

*She goes limp out of nowhere and her breathing shortens to where it would barely keep her alive.But a few minutes later she gasps and jolts awake and she mews now scared*

"Go on, eat the herbs, Rippykit." Starpaw mewed softly. She nudged the leaf with the herbs on it towards the brown she-kit.
"They will help you and ease the pain..."

"They will help you and ease the pain..." *She sniffs at them and she gently starts to eat some of it falling off the leaf due to her shaking and she eats as much as she could before plopping back down again* w..wheres my momma i miss her |

Starpaw blinked at her, her sky-blue eyes will with pain and longing as she thought about her own mother.
Sighing, she pushed the memories to the back of her mind and turned her full attention back to Rippykit. "I will make sure you live." She promised, knowing that Rippykit could see the feirceness of her promise.
"I won't let you die, at least not while I'm around to have a say in it!" She mewed.
