Goldenpaw ran silently beside the other cats. They had left the DeathClan camp a few moments before, and were fleeing possible DeathClan warriors. It's a good thing Poppy knows of another place we can go. If Blackheart really is following us, then we can't go back to camp. "If you're tired Poppy, I can take Skypaw. And how much farther are we to your home?"

'' Don't worry I'm fine Goldenpaw. It won't be that much farther. '' Poppy looked over her shoulder at Skypaw to see her moaning. '' She needs water.... Once we get there, there is a small stream. Should we take a quick rest here? '' She said noticing that the other cats were tired, then relizing how tired she was.

Goldenpaw could see how tired the cats were, and quickly decided. "Yes, lets stop here. We've run far enough away that we will be a few minutes ahead of any DeathClan cats. We can take a quick break, then continue to your home, Poppy." As the other cats rested, Goldenpaw paced through the trees, nose in the air, ears pricked, trying to sense any DeathClan cats.

Poppy nudged Heartclaw sympatheticaly (omg big word). '' You're not slowing us down at all Heartclaw. We are all tired and need to rest. How about I get us some fresh kill? '' She said as she went to hunt. She liked where she lived because of all the prey near by.

Poppy didn't know anything about wounds. Wounds were something Juniper would usually look after. '' M maybe some fresh kill will make you better...? Juniper might be back at our home, she could take a look at your injuries. '' Poppy said feeling bad for the SoulClan cat. '' I'll catch us something to eat. Watch Skypaw for a bit. '' Poppy said as she followed the scent of a mouse near by.

Poppy returned a few moments later with a plump mouse dangeling from her jaws. '' Here you go Heartclaw. I can go catch more so you can have that one. '' Poppy said then layed down next to Heartclaw.

Poppy felt her heart twist with sympathy. She didn't think her and her siblings coudl get any closer. '' Well, sometimes it just doesn't work out..... '' Poppy trailed off as she remembered to well when Blackheart tried to kill Heartclaw.

Goldenpaw's ears fell a little. "I'm sorry about that, Heartclaw. I can't imagine any SoulClan cat trying to kill me..." She shuddered. "But Poppy's right, maybe one day Blackheart will figure things out and realize the wrong she's done."
