Starpaw tapped her foot impatiently. She and Sandheart had been waiting for Deathsong ever since sunset. Starclan couldn't wait forever. She couldn't wait to have them visit her dreams. Then she thought what it would be like to get her Full-Medicine Cat name. When she stood before Starclan and Sandheart pronouncing her official name. Starpaw puffed her chest out proudly at all that she had accomplished. She even though she would have loved the path of a warrior, memory crushed her dreams and she couldn't be happier with her life. A shadow appeared on the horizon and Starpaw perked her ears, hoping that it would be Deathsong.

Sandheart sighed and sat down. She curled her tail over and paws and closed her eyes for a moment before reopening them. "Be patient, Starpaw." Sandheart lectured, noting how her apprentice was tapping her foot on the ground and kept looking over the bend. This would be something she needed to learn. A very crucial part of being medicince cat. A victim may be withering and can't stay still, or the healing takes a long time. Wait. As well as StarClan could.
Sandheart signed again. Has something happened? Should we go help? Sandheart ran through her mind. What was holding Deathsong back? She would find that out later.
