*Deathsong padded out to the rock (its a rock right?) and lept onto it. Considering her size it was quite a feat. She cleared her throat nervously, she was just made Medicine Cat, most of the Clan probably didnt even know. But she sumond her voice and it thankfuly rang out clearly, anyone in the camp would hear her.* All Clan members old enough to catch their own prey, gather here! * she waited till most of ther Clan had poked their heads out of the dens, curious about who was summoning them.* StarClan has come to me and have shown me *looks around at the cats. *Who they will to be the next Leader and Deputy of DeathClan!!

Okay, StarClan has showed me who they will to be the next Leader and Deputy. There is no argument, this is their decree (fancy!). Darkface is now Darkstar of DeathClan! His Deputy shall be Shattergaze!

A thrill went through Shattergaze's veins, and she closed her icy eyes. Deputy! Sure, it wasn't leader, but StarClan had decreed it...and the tom Darkface, now Darkstar, seemed like a tough cat. She could deal being his deputy. After all, it was more than she had hoped for so soon after the fall of Tanglestar. Twining through the cats, Shattergaze took her place, eyes shining. Everything was perfect. Now all they had to do was defeat SoulClan, and the world would be right.

Darkstar's eyes gleamed darkly. At his cue, he walked in front of all the gathered cats and then jumped up in front of Deathsong. He looked upon his new clan with a look of satisfaction, although for what could not be determined. He showed no nervousness as most new leaders would. In fact he was scrutinizing each cat carefully.

Shattergaze turned to Darkstar and dipped her head. Although she had wanted to be leader, like many had, she was fiercely loyal to her leader and her Clan. And now her leader was Darkstar. "It will also be my privilege to serve as your deputy."
