Whitekit's Ceremony

Darkstar jumped onto the Twisted Rock and said, "May all cats strong enough to catch their own prey gather here for a Clan meeting. Whitekit, come forward." Whitekit approaches proudly. "You have survived your first few moons of life, proving that you have the strength and courage necessary to become a warrior. From now on you shall no longer be known as Whitekit, but as Whitepaw."
"Shattergaze, as deputy you obviously have skills that are very successful. Now it time for you to teach them to another and therefore strengthen the Clan. Whitepaw will become your apprentice."

Whitekit, who was rather bursting with excitement tried to hide it as she touched noses with the deputy.
Shattergaze had been Tangletail's apprentice and was a strong fighter, and Whitekit-no Whitepaw now, was sure she would be a good mentor.

Shattergaze stepped up to her new apprentice and touched noses with the cat. Whitekit was the only surviving cat of Tangletail's litter, and had proven brave in battle. Shattergaze knew that she would prove a good apprentice, and eventually a strong DeathClan cat. After touching noses, she stepped back. "Congratulations, Whitepaw."

Whitepaw nodded, "Thank you." Her eyes glittering, she let her thoughts wander for a moment for actually being able to hunt for the Clan, be a better fighter, and be a strong DeathClan warrior...
