Wo0t!!!!!!
July 20, 1969!! Apollo 11 lands on the moon. The first Americans to ever walk on the moon; Niel Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin!!! One of the most important events in human history. It has been 40 years since that day, and it still impacts our lives. It was one of those days when everyone on Earth was together, everyone was one!!!!!
Let us celebrate today. Let us all feel good about ourselves and all that we have done in this world. That day was a day of achievement; proof that we can do anything!!!!
Go out there and prove something today!!

Very nice post, Thorn XD
And fun fact about the moon landing: Did you know that Neil Armstrong's famous line, "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind" was said wrong? It was supposed to be, "One small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind". He was so nervous and exited he forgot the "a"! XD And the best thing is, nobody could tell because it was still such an awesome thing to say! I think it sounds better the way he said it XD

Great facts, Golden, Whisper, and Thorny!
As you all might know, tomorrow morning around six o'clock in Bihar, India, will be the longest solar eclispe of the century! People all over the world are traveling to that spot just to see it. The eclispe will last six or seven minutes- a long time without the sun! Did you guys know that if the sun were to go out at this very moment you're reading this post, we would still have seven minutes of light because of the speed of light? Also, if you're talking about the Eastern time zone, Bihar time is 9 1/2 hours ahead. So when the ecplise happens at 6 in the morning there, it will be 8:30 p.m. tonight. Remember, Eastern time. Make sure to read all about it tomorrow!

Yeah! Go facts of human history! =D
Oh, wow! I bet it'll be all over the news. I hope I can see one one day. My mom has seen two and she says it's so funny because the chickens begin to roost and the cows lay down in the fields. XD
Yeah, Golden, I like how he said it too.

Thanks guys!! xD I watched a really awesome video about Apollo 11. Here is the link: video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2010943198807860327It is totally awesome!!! I love the ending when Buzz saves the day with a pen. The suspense had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Even though I knew they would get home, I was still excited about the challenges they faced!! Yeah Joy, I heard about that eclipse. I've seen one before a few years ago; it was really cool. About your sun disappearing act, I heard it would take eight minutes.
