Okay yeah, so this is just a little story to go along with my RP character on here, Windspirit. There'll be more chapters, but since I'm lazy, I'll just start out with this. XD
*Enjoy*
Prologue;
The morning was cold, as it normally was in leaf-bare. A small silver queen lay down on her side, two mewling little kits nudging at her stomache.
"They're beautiful, Silverheart," Cloudfur, a white queen with bright blue eyes, remarked.
"Yes, they are," Silverheart agreed. "StarClan must really be pleased with me, sending me such perfect little kits!"
"So, what are you going to name them?" Cloudfur mewed, wrapping her white tail neatly over her paws.
"I was thinking of Earthkit for this one," Silverheart nudged the brown tom with her soft pink nose, "and Stormkit for this one." She moved her tail so Cloudfur could see the small black and white bundle of fur greedily pushing herself against Silverheart's stomache.
"Perfect," Cloudfur meowed.
Silverheart licked her two kits, and turned her yellow gaze to Cloudfur once more. Her ears pricked foward, hearing something far away in the distance. It sounded like cats running.
"Do you hear that?" Cloudfur meowed, her eyes intent. "It's sounds like... Like angry cats coming."
"DeathClan!" A cat yowled from outside of the nursery. "DeathClan is here! They're coming!"
Silverheart looked frantically around, struggling to get up. "I can't get up! I'm still too weak from having the kits! Cloudfur, oh Cloudfur, you must take them! Get them out of here! Please, I beg of you!"
Cloudur's eyes darkened, and grief swept over her face. She looked at her friend, her very best friend, knowing she would never see her again. As she nodded and her eyes shined, she picked up both kits by their scruff and balanced them in her mouth before bolting away.
"Get them to Thunderstorm!" She heard Silverheart yowl.
Cloudfur skirted the edge of the clearing staying a few tail-lengths away, where tufts flew about. She noticed Thunderstorm almost immediately; he was a large, gray tom, and Silverheart's mate. He was battling a sleek black tom, and winning. His claws flashed in the sunlight as he swept it across the other cat's shoulder, leaving a huge gash, and making the tom turn tail.
"Cloudfur, what's wrong?" Thunderstorm padded up to the queen, his ears pricked foward.
"Sil- Silverheart wanted you to help me get her kits away." Cloudfur lowered her eyes, shuffling her paws uncomfortably.
"What?! Silverheart couldn't possibly... No, she wouldn't leave herself to die in there!"
"She is... She only wants the survival of her kits." As Cloudfur looked up, she noticed a few cats charge into the nursery, and the yowls of agony as fur flew into the air once more. Silver fur.
"Silverheart, oh Silverheart! We must get these kits out of here!" Thunderstorm raised his broad shoulders, his green eyes blazing with ferocity and determination. Cloudfur nodded, handing Stormkit over to her father. Thunderstorm gently held the black and white kit in his mouth, and ran, Cloudfur flanking his left side.
"Where are we headed?" Cloudfur asked, lowering her voice.
"SoulClan."
