ok i dont have a name for it but heres the first chapter, i kn ow it needs changes but here it is
Chapter 1
My breath came out hard, as my feet hit the dirt. My lungs burned. I could hear the sounds of pursuit behind me. A shot rang through the trees, hitting the tree next to me. They were getting closer. Shoot, better shift. I tried to concentrate but the shots were braking my train of thought. A smoky smell filled the air and I ducked. Just in time as a fire ball whizzed past my head into the tree where my head had been 5 seconds ago. Just then the trees cleared. I instantly felt relieved, until I saw the edge of the cliff.
I skid to a halt, turning to face my pursuers. My breath caught in my throat. I started backing up until my foot, I heard pebbles dropping, and they didn’t hit anything. I looked back, the canyon opened up below me, seemed like a million miles to the bottom. I moved forward automatically, without realizing it. I turned to face my visitors. They emerged, there were 6 in all.
The tallest a fiery red head, seemed to be floating mid air. The next one a dark blonde, who seemed to be shimmering in and out of human and quick-silver. The next two that came looked alike, 2 brunettes, I was guessing twins, I didn’t see the taller one doing anything, but the other one was holding to things that looked like ice daggers. The shortest with dark brown hair that was almost black except for the red-gold swatch across her eye, her eyes flashed and to balls of fire appeared in her hands. I instinctively took a step back at that. I couldn’t place it but I felt a connection to these people, even if it looked like now they were going to kill me.
Another person stepped from behind, out of the shadows. His hair fell across his dark eyes. A smirk crept across his face. I could tell he was doing something with his mind, trying to get in. A sudden feeling of calm overcame me and I felt like nothing more than looking at his perfect face forever. Suddenly a voice broke through my foggy mind, “You have other things to do, break it, you need to save them”. I blinked and the fog faded slowly. A scowl filled the beautiful guys face. “She broke the connection” he cried out in rage. He appeared to be communicating with an UN-seen person. Then he calmed down, the serine smile replacing the scowl. His looked at me jeeringly. “Leave me alone” I said. He laughed at my fear. “What do you want with me?” I cried. “Oh Arabelle, You know what we want, and we will get it. We have your friends and we will get you’. “Never” I cried. With that he started laughing.
After that I decided I’d had enough of these psycho’s. I leapt of the cliff. Well I probably could’ve thought that through better. My mind was racing as I needed something to shift to. A hawk soared over my head and I thought fast. I concentrated, pulling out a familiar shift-position. Suddenly I was pulled up-ward by the two, beautiful 12 foot silver wings attached to my back, I beat furiously gaining altitude. Just in time for a fire ball to lob past my head. I looked down on my little crowd, and kept going. I kept trying to forget the smug smile on the guys face. Then a fireball hit me and a started to fall. I cried out in pain as the burning spread down my shoulder. I curled up in pain, losing altitude, as I tried to cease the fire. I hit the ground. Hard. I could hear the laughing of the guy behind me. Then everything went dark.
