Tanglepaw's warrior ceremony

"B-Back in.....where I come from..." She answered, but then realized that that wasn't good enough.
"Back in-" She meowed, raising her head.
"Sh-ShadowClan."

[tanglestar]

Tangletail quivered as the memories of her kit-hood rushed back into her mind.

"What's That Smell?" A cat from across the clearing called out, and then everybody was stricken in panic.
"What is is mommy?" Tanglekit asked her mother, Nightfrost.
"Come on, honey! We have to get out of here!" Nightfrost hissed withtout answering her question.
Finally, she answered.
"Tanglekit, hurry! The fire will destroy our camp!"

"Oh..." Fallenleaves couldn't help but frown slightly, the curiousity now gone form his bright green eyes. "I see..." His frown deepened and he couldn't help but glance at his shoulder and growl. Suddenly, he remembered his past.

"Take that!" Fallenkit yowled to his Brother, Sharpkit. "Your going DOWN ShadowClan!"
"Not if I can help!" Sharpkit hissed.

And before he knew it, he was having another.

"Will you be my Mate?" Fallenleaves was now a new Warrior, and he was asking the most beatiful cat in the Clan to be his Mate.
Snowcloud had shaken her head. "I am sorry, but no..."

"ShadowClan! You have gone too far!" Fallenleaves snarled, towering over a small she-cat of ShadowClan. "Tell your leader, ThunderClan WILL kill them one of these days!" He snarled again as the she-cat tried scrambling from his long hooked claws.

"Too many memories..." Fallenleaves came back to the present, before Tangletail could stop him, he ran out of the Camp quickly, head hurting.

Everybody had finally gotten onto the ridge above on the outskirts of the Camp.
All of the cats watched sorrowfully as their home was engulfed in flames, and being destroyed, bit by bit.
"Mommy, where did our home go?" Tanglekit asked.
"It went away, sweetie..." Nightfrost meowed, teary eyed.
"And it's not coming back..." She added, nuzzling Tanglekit.
"But where are we going to go?" Tanglekit asked.
"I don't know." Nightfrost meowed. "You might have to leave mommy...but I don't know yet."
"Oh..." Tanglekit mewed. She looked down at what used to be the ShadowClan, but now was only a pile of ashes.

Tangletail looked up from her teared-up eyes, and noticed that Fallenleaves was gone.
Quickly, she caught his scent and raced after it.
"Fallenleaves! Where did you go? Are you okay?!" Tangletail called after him.

As Tangletail was searching, yet again was she hit by another part of her memory.

Nightfrost was looking around frantically, calling and hissing out:
"Bluekit! Bluekit!"
Tanglekit looked around wildly, wondering where her brother had wondered off to this time.
"Bluekit!?" She meowed.
Without thinking, Tanglekit rushed into the burning and smoking camp, and heard the faint mewling of her brother.
"T-Tanglekit?" He cried.
Tanglekit rushed over to the noise, and found her own brother lying down, breathing faintly.
"Bluekit!" Tanglekit cried.
"What's happening?" She mewed.
"I-I think I'm going t-to StarClan..." Bluekit meowed, looking up at the sky, his eyes starting to loose thier light.
"Bluekit! Tanglekit!" Nightfrost hissed.
Tanglekit whipped her head around, and saw thier mother racing after them, and all of a sudden, her tail caught on fire.
She hissed in pain, but she still ran towards her kits.
"You have to get out of here!" She growled.
"Don't worry what happens to me! Just go!" She cried to Tanglekit. Tanglekit did as she was told, and ran away, as far from camp as she could.

He started muttering to himself as he cam eo the edge of SoulClan Territory. "She...she's from that wretched Clan, ShadowClan!" he hissed to himself, ears flat against his head. He let out a long sigh...

[tanglestar]

While Tangletail was running, she felt a tear run down her face.
"Mother...." She meowed, stopping in the middle of the forest.
"Nightfrost...Bluekit..." She murmmered, and closed her eyes, more tears starting to fall down.
She suddenly looked up at the sky, and whispered to herself.
"Why StarClan? Why did you have to take them?"

[fallenleaves]

"Well, this has turned out to be a great day..." Fallenleaves meowed to himself. As he said this a huge bolt of lightning bolted through the air, making the sky shine. Then it was gone, but it the started pouring. "First we get attacked by ShadowClan, then I find out the she-cat I think I love is a ShadowClan Cat, and now it's raining."

Tangletail's ear pricked.
Fallenleaves! She thought.
She ran over to the sound and found the ginger and white cat sitting alone.
She walked over to him and sat down.
"What's wrong? You just sort of ran away back there..."

He glanced up at Tangletail and mumbled, "Nothing."

[tanglestar]

Tangletail's head tilted.
She knew that something was wrong, but she didn't want to bug him about it. If he wanted to tell her, he would do it on his own, she decided.
She padded over to a puddle, and watched the ripples as the rain drops fell into it, thinking about her lost brother and mother.

Fallenleaves glanced at Tangletail and then quickly turned his green gaze back to his Paws. "What's it like in ShadowClan?" He asked quietly.

Tangletail raised her head, and smiled at her memories.
"It's great!" She purred.
"They have really long trees to climb, and frogs are actually really good!" She added, turning to Fallenleaves.
"I loved it." She sighed. "Every now and then, I wish I could go back...and just visit it...mabey my father's still alive.." She murmmered.
She smiled again at Fallenleaves.
"I think that you would like it if you gave it a chance. I always feel so hurt inside when cats insult ShadowClan, even though I try to play along..." She meowed, looking at her paws.
"M-My brother Bluekit and my mom Nightfrost died...I-In a fire that destroyed our Camp...I'll never forget that day." She muttered sorrowfully.

[fallenleaves]

"I see..." he murmured. "How did the Fire happen?" He asked, glacning up again.

[tanglestar]

"I'm not sure..." Tangletail muttered, then started to think.

Before the huge fire, there was a long thunderstorm.

"It might of been lightning, but I'm not posititive." She added.
Suddenly, she walked over to Fallenleaves, and sat down beside him.
"You don't seem to like it when I talk about ShadowClan, did they do anything to you?"

[fallenleaves]

"ooohh..." He mewed.

[tanglestar]

Tangletail looked up at the sky, another crack of thunder, and a tremdouse bolt of lightning split the air.
"Sometimes...I look up at the sky, and I swear I see my mother's face in the stars, staring back at me...but I'm probably just seeing things." Tangletail meowed.
She fought back the tears as she told Fallenleaves more.
"My mom died saving us from the fire..."
Eventually, Tangletail broke down in tears beside Fallenleaves.
"Their gone, and my mom's death is all my fault!! I can never forgive myself!"

"I am sorry to hear that..." Fallenleaves murmured, eyes flashing in the darkness. He snorted silently to himself. They deserved to die after what they did to my Clan! Though, he couldn't help but feel a huge pang of sympthy for Tangletail.

Tangletail looked up and saw a face between triumph and sympathy on his face.
She raised her head, and looked him strait in the eye.
"Y-You look happy about something...?
Okay! ShadowClan did something to him...
"What did ShadowClan do to you?!"
