Goldenpaw grins back, and falls into line as the cats pad off to the river. She bounced along the path, excited. She had only gone swimming a few times before, and was ready to try it again.

Poppy bounded after them. She was begining to like the Soul Clan cats a lot. She shuddered at the thought og the Death Clan cats. Were they really as cold hearted as Goldenpaw had described? She shook the thought away and returned to her swim.

Poppy splashed in after Ghostshadow, appreciating the warmth of the water and the sun on her fur, '' Hey Ghostshadow, I bet I can swim out to that rock and back before you! '' She challenged the white tom with a playful smile.

Goldenpaw bounds past the cats and plowed into the water, splashing everywhere. Grinning, she paddles out to the center of the river, dunking her head in and out of the water.

Spottedsun smiled at the two older cats and trotted after Goldenpaw and jumped into the calm river. Water splashed everywhere, but she grinned and paddled out to cheer on the two cats in their race. "Poppy! Ghosty!" she shouted.

Goldenpaw's head popped up from the water, blinking, and she saw the three cats swimming away from her, heading for a big rock. "HEY!" she shouted, and then went into high gear, swimming rapidly up to them.

Spottedsun saw Goldenpaw paddling quickly toward them, and silently sunk below the surface. She chuckled toward herself as she glided toward Goldenpaw's paws. Suddenly, she thrashed out and knocked them side ways, before escaping behind a patch of rocks.

"Yes," she whispered, drifting out from behind the rock for a moment. "Don't tell her I'm here, please! I'll have to make a swim for it if she figures out that I did it." She chuckled darkly and sunk back into the rock's shadow.

Goldenpaw yelped as she felt something touch her feet, and paddled quickly away. OH mygoshwasthatafish? I hope not... Then she heard Spotty's voice and she frowned, eyes narrowing. "I can hear you, Spottedsun!!" She shouted, then lowered her head and rocketed for her mentor, growling. "ROWR!!" She sent a huge wave crashing over the warriors head, dunking her below the water.

Spottedsun disfigured into a half grin and a half look of utter surprise. She yowled, plowing under the waves, water flooding her mouth. She broke the surface, spitting out the water and grinning darkly. "If it's a game you want, it's a game you'll get." She slashed out a paw and water rocketed toward Goldenpaw.

Goldenpawn laughed, then put a serious look on her face. "Then a game it is!" Goldenpaw swam underwater as the wave rolled over her, then popped up right underneath Spottedsun. "Surprise!" Then she splashed her mentor with water right in the face.

Spottedsun hissed but jumped away at the right second. "Ha ha! You'll never catch me!" She splashed the water once more, aiming a wave at Goldenpaw, before diving under water to avoid any hits. (XD It's like a war!)
