Flamestar looked at Whisperwind, her ears pricked. "Fang just took them into the nursery, I believe."

*calms down* They'll be okay with him until we bury Sunkit. *she wants to go see her kits so badly, but she needs to bury Sunkit first*

^Pops his head into the den^ Shadowsoul will look after them while we go to Sunkit's burial. ^He choked out the words and silently padded towards the entrance of the Camp.^

*Stops, trembling a little and staring at the ground. Stays silent, then slowly starts to follow them again*

Tangletail heard the cracking of a twig behind her and she turned around to find Fang standing behind her.

*gently picks Sunkit up from where Tangle set him down. she nods at Fang for him to start digging the hole*

Flamestar nodded, quietly adding, "Yes, I am sure they will be fine under the care of Shadowsoul. But..." she cut herself off in midsentence, "We might want to hurry."
She turned around for a moment, looking up at the sun which was just below the peaks of the huge trees that grew in the territory. For a second, a shiver went through her, noticing how the sky was the color of blood. Murmuring to herself, she turned back to the Clan.

[Sharpfang]

^Looks at his mother and pads up beside her^ ^Stares at the ground^ Where are we burying him? ^Rasps^

*Keeps following slowly, almost three fox-lengths behind. Trips over a log and falls into the dirt. Finally stands up and starts to walk again, in intense pain the whole time*

With a simple word, she replied: "Come." She started padding into the forest.
"This was a place that I found when I was an apprentice. I think that he would of liked it very much."

After padding for a while, she found the spot she was looking for. At first, it looked like nothing more than a simple badger hole. She padded in and it soon opened up into a cave. The cave had a breaking in the top with stones leading up to it like StarClan had designed it themselves.
Without any words - and Sunkit still in her jaws - she hopped up the stones and they landed into unknown forest.
"We're allmost there." She meowed throug ha mouthfull of fur.
She then saw her destination. In a circle patch of forest, and the sky shining like blood, they had made it just in time. She dug the hole and buried the young kit. She rested her head from her limp neck and with the last moment of the sun, light rays shined brightly on the patch of open ground and surrounded the whole area with light.
"Now, everyday, Sunkit can enjoy the light of the sun." She smiled slightly.

*turns her head when she hears something behind her. Sees Silver fall, and then get back up, obviously in pain. she flicks her tail at Silver in concern* Silver? What's wrong?

(Wait...Tangletail took Sunkit with her when she padded towards the camp entrance, remember? )
