She jumped down but she as still several fox lengths in the air.

"It could take a while." She muttered. Whitekit sat down n the thick branch she was on and curled her tail over her paws.

"Okay. But don't expect everybody to except you back with open arms." Tangletail then went out of ear-shot of her kit, and back to the Camp.

"I won't." She said simply even though Tangletail was to far to hear. Whitekit jumped down from the tree and scented the air carefully. There were mixed scents everywhere, mouse, cat, vole etc etc.

After she told Flamestar, she then went into the Warriors den, wanting to get some rest. If Whitekit didn't want to come back, there was nothing she could do about it...so she decided to let it go. Her eyelids drooped and she fell asleep.

Whitekit suddenly pounced and came up with relief as a dead mouse hung from her jaws. "First catch of my life." She mumbled.
