Shivers as he sees an evil look in Tangle's eyes as she talks to Whisperwind. Looks at Whisperwind with sympathy as he thinks, "No cat should have to go through something as horrid as loosing their mate."

"Leave her alone, Tanglestar!" Flamestar snarled, "Your quarrel is not with Whisperwind--this is a quarrel between me and you only, leave my Clan out of this! And that is enough, thank you very much!" Her words were scathing and filled with anger, mixed with hate and rage.

Whisperwind flinched like she'd been clawed. Her hackles raised, spitting hatred at Tanglestar. "I love him more than you and your pathetic shriveled heart will ever understand, and he loves me the same way! It is because of our love that he will never be gone. Ever." She closed her eyes for a second, knowing how true Tangle's words were about half of her missing. She looked back up at the cat sitting on the rock. "How can you forget everything you once had, Tanglestar? You had friends. Family. A Clan that loved you. A respected position. What could be worth giving up all that?"

Flamestar snarled, the snarl coming from deep inside her chest as she fought the horrible, strong urge to claw her face off and leave the DeathClan leader there, cold and blue on top of TwoStones.
She turned away from the leader to stop her anger from over-flowing.

Tanglestar heard the kit's words and thought of Fallenleaves for a moment. Not entirely.
She then felt the wave of discomfort coming off of Whisperwind. Her ice-filled smile grew a little.

"Don't forget, we're coming back for you as well."

Flamestar's eyes suddenly gleamed when she noticed Tanglestar pause when she heard Stormkit. The pieces suddenly came together and everything came together. She remembered how last night she had looked inside the Warriors' Den and one of her closest friends, Fallenleaves, was not in the den. He had been visiting Tanglestar!
That also explained the faint scent of DeathClan on his pelt when he came back into camp, his claws had blood on them and that explained why Blackdeath walked stiffly. She looked at Tanglestar, smirking, "So...how was you meeting with Fallenleaves last night?" she asked coolly, "Did you have a nice time? Were you caught?" she asked loudly and made sure the Clans heard, she wanted Tanglestar to feel what Whisperwind felt when she talked about her mate.
