((Please don't interfere too much here. I'm making Thorn and Dark have a "talk." It's not the final one or anything, I just want to make Darksar scare Thornclaw out of his wits. xP))
Thornclaw sat a little ways away from the others. Unfortunately, he knew that no matter where he was, his fear-scent would give him away. Paranoid, his eyes scanned the crowd, looking for the huge figure he feared so much. He noticed Joypaw look at him and gave her a weak smile. Then he went back to scanning the crowd.
Darkstar's copper eyes spotted him at once. Just look at him, he's scared out of his wits!! He smirked. Slowly and stealthily, he slipped through the crowd of cats until he was only a few tail lengths away from him. Copper eyes flashing with glee, he slowly and ominously approached him.
Thornclaw almost missed him. But as he saw the huge, dark head appear above the crowd, he suddenly stiffened. He watched has the dark figure slowly walked out of the crowd and marched towards him. A slow, evil grin spread across his face; his copper eyes flashed wickedly. He stopped about a tail length away.
"Hello. Long time no see, eh?"

Stormheart had returned just in time to hear Flamepaw mouthing off to Shattergaze about Whitefire. Oh great, she thought, supressing a sigh. When she saw Whitefire unsheathe her claws, she snarled, and walked over to Whitefire. "Back off, Whitefire," she hissed to her, green eyes blazing with anger in the pale moonlight. She turned to Flamepaw, and for a second her eyes seemed to say: "How could you be so stupid?" before returning her angered gaze to Whitefire.
Nightpaw strolled over to Whitefire, Stormheart, and Flamepaw, a huge, smug grin covering her face. Her teeth glinted white in the moonlight, and she looked at Flamepaw sadastically, imagining tearing through her flesh. Not like she'd be able to do that tonight, but maybe Shattergaze or Whitefire would. How could anyone be so stupid as to strut up to a Deputy and insult their apprentice, who was a warrior? Even Nightpaw had more common sense than to do that. She took a seat next to Whitefire; she would love to see how this played out, and if she could feel blood on her paws. She had already been denied one kill, perhaps they could take Flamepaw's life as an exchange? Nightpaw knew she was getting ahead of herself, but it was fun to imagine.

(I'm just gonna post as a warrior since I am one, & ok, Thorny XD)
Joysong watched Stormheart go up to Whitefire and hiss something at her, her green eyes thick with undiguised anger. She padded up to them, and said in a warning tone, "Honestly, Whitefire, can't you put away your claws for more than a moment? Sheesh. This is no time for fighting. Don't you know there's a truce?" She glanced at Nightpaw, gazing on with deep thoughtfulness in her lit-up green eyes, and wondered what she was thinking about. Joysong caught her former mentor's eye, and her gave her a weak smile. She smiled back, now her thoughts fixed on him. What is Thornclaw so scared of? She fixed her ocean blue gaze on him, thinking. She noticed he seemed to be looking for some cat, and stiffen when Darkstar came up to him. Oh, StarClan, why is her so scared of Darkstar? He's just a heap of stinking fox dung.

Creampaw looked up at Darkstar. "Whos that?" She meowed to herself. "By his smell im guessing he is Deathclan's Leader..." then she coughed and looked up again. "Well... I guess that means gatherings gonna begin soon..good i have been waiting forever!!" She meowed with her green eyes sparkling. "yay!!!"
Silentfeather looked at Darkstar. Then looked at Creampaw who was wondering about the Deathclan leader then seemed happy.Whats that weird apprentice happy about this time? She got owned by a Deathclan cat! Silentfeather looked at Thornclaw, whats he so afraid of? Then Silentfeather looked in the crowd and sniffed the air, It had Soulclan and Deathclan all over.

Whitefire quivered in anger. What. A. Stupid. Little. Apprentice. Whitefire growled in her mind, unsheathing and sheathing her claws over and over again. She wanted to just dig her claws into any SoulCats neck, just to kill them all one by one and rid of them forever. But of course, she was just one Warrior. But Flamepaw was just a new apprentice. She had no experience what so ever. And she deserved to be hurt.
Then Stormheart came off. "Back off, Whitefire." She growled, her eyes blazing and a defensive vibe echoing off her silver pelt. She meant it. But that didn't bother Whitefire. Then Joypaw and Nightpaw wandered over. Joypaw of course, told her of the truce and such, but Whitefire had known. But did she care? No. "I know of a truce, but that doesn't mean every cat has to follow it." She shrugged. "That means I can do what I want."
She stole a glance to Nightpaw, who was watching eagerly. Whitefire guessed she wanted to see how it all played out. Whitefire couldn't blame her. If a DeathClan Warrior was in her place, and Whitefire took Nightpaw's, she would want to watch as well. _____________ Word Count: 224 Notes: Eh.. Goldenshard's eyes went wide for a moment. Flamepaw, no! The apprentice hid behind Goldenshard, and the warrior turned to face her. "Flamepaw, you have to stop." Her voice was quiet and very, very serious. "I know you hate them. I know you want to destroy them, make them stop talking about us the way they do. But that is not the way to do it. It'll just make it worse! Please, never do that again." Goldenshard tensed as she felt movement behind her back. StarClan above, please make her honor the truce!
Shattergaze had been having a grand time trading "insults" with Dogfang. It was fun that she could banter with another cat like herself at the Gathering. Their alliance was going to prove invaluable. Then some fool apprentice had decided to insult her former apprentice, warrior, and her Clan behind her back.
"I bet when Goldenshard is done training me, I could beat her in a battle fair and square!"
Shattergaze slowly got to her feet. Her snowy body twined through the clearing until she came up to Flamepaw. A half-smile was on her face, but her eyes were deadly blue ice. She stood right in front of the apprentice, glaring down at her. Goldenshard stood right beside Flamepaw, eyes glaring, her fur bristling. Shattergaze rolled her eyes. "I'm not going to kill her, Goldenshard. There's a truce, isn't there?" Her words were mocking, but Goldenshard didn't back away. After all, what else could she do? She couldn't attack the DeathClan Deputy on the night of a Gathering. It would start a bloodbath. Her eyes narrowed. But if Shattergaze did attack, Goldenshard would kill her.
Shattergaze leaned in, her eyes glaring. "You believe that you could beat my former apprentice, a DeathClan warrior, with many kills of her own, after you're trained by some SoulCat? SoulClan does not teach cats half of what is needed to defeat any cat in DeathClan. For example, to show no mercy in a kill," her blue eyes fell down to her drawn claws, shining in the moonlight. "Or that no cat that is weak should be allowed to live." She drew her claw upwards to Flamepaw's neck, a hair from her throat. "Never insult my warriors again. Or I will kill you myself."
Goldenshard started forward, ready to stop the Deputy. If she so much as touches my apprentice, she dies!
But with a laugh, Shattergaze's paw flashed away, and she padded easily back over to Dogfang. She sat down beneath the two rocks, and her eyes went back over to the SoulClan Deputy. That was fun. She smiled. "You were saying, Dogfang?"
Fury rolled through Goldenshard, and she closed her eyes, trying to stay calm. Insulting, calling names, or trying to attack would only make things one hundred times worse. Instead, she tried to relax her bristling fur and turned to her apprentice. "Never do that again, Flamepaw."
(OMG WHAT A FREAKIN WICKED POST XD XD)

FLAMEPAW Through the wind and the rain She stands hard as a stone In a world that she can't rise above But her dreams give her wings And she flies to a place where she's loved Concrete angel At Goldenshard's scolding, Flamepaw lowered her head and looked down at her paws. Her claws were now sheathed and her ears were pinned back against her head as she bit her lip.
Her first Gathering and she almost started a fight. She knew it would not be the first battle of the Clans at a Gathering, but that did not give her any right to insult someone like Whitefire, and in the process also insulting her mentor, Shattergaze, the deputy of DeathClan. What had she been thinking? She bit her lip harder, almost drawing blood into her mouth.
Her ears lifted up a bit, just enough to hear what Stormheart, Sandheart, and Goldenshard said to Shattergaze. She quickly glanced at Whitefire who seemed to be glaring daggers at her. If looks could kill, Flamepaw would more or likely have already been buried down deep into the earth, bugs and animals of all sorts tearing her apart.
She felt relieved that her Clanmates were standing up for her, but still. They couldn't stand up for her all her life, she had to learn to stand up for herself - but not out of anger, only when it was reasonable. She looked up again, only to recieve what seemed like glares from Stormheart and Sandheart. Well Sandheart's looked like a warning. Stormheart was the one actually glaring at her, as if she were a DeathClan cat and Flamepaw had insulted HER, not the real DeathClan cats.
Stormheart's gaze was more or less angry than protective. Flamepaw sighed. Her gaze seemed to say, "Do it again and I won't be there to protect you. This is my way of warning you."
Sandheart's gaze basically summed up to a couple words, "Never do that again, EVER
". Whitefire's response to Stormheart sent a chill down Flamepaw's fur, " I know of a truce, but that doesn't mean every cat has to follow it." the she-cat then shrugged, " That means I can do what I want." Flamepaw looked up, she didn't like the look on Nightpaw's face. It seemed too eager, even for a DeathClan cat. By now Flamepaw was almost shivering with fright. " You believe that you could beat my former apprentice, a DeathClan warrior, with many kills of her own, after you're trained by some SoulCat? SoulClan does not teach cats half of what is needed to defeat any cat in DeathClan. For example, to show no mercy in a kill." Shattergaze's eyes then turned away from them and she looked down at her paws, which were unsheathed and seemed to just be glaring at Flamepaw, ready to attack and rip her throat out. Flamepaw's gaze turned from fright to panic and she let out a small gasp, loud enough for Shattergaze to hear but not enough for the rest of the cats gathered around, wondering what was going on, to hear. " Or that no cat that is weak should be allowed to live." She drew her claw upwards to Flamepaw's neck, a hair from her throat. " Never insult my warriors again. Or I will kill you myself." " Y-yes, Shattergaze." The apprentice mewed quietly, just enough for Shattergaze to hear her. Flamepaw's eyes were now wide with shock at the deputy's quiet despoist. At least she didn't rip her throat out right then and there, when she had the chance, Flamepaw guessed was a positive. The way Shattergaze spoke made Flamepaw shiver even more, when Shattergaze whipped her paw away and walked off as if nothing had ever happened, the dark ginger apprentice turned away from her Clanmates, as to not let them see how frightened she was. Be strong. Don't cry, don't cry. Spottedsun trained you to be a peacemaker, not a trouble maker. Be strong. " I - I'm sorry, Joysong." Making sure as to no one saw her, she slinked off into the bushes, not caring of anyone noticed her then and not caring if she missed the Gathering. Worst day of her life.[/blockquote][/blockquote] --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Word Count?: 678 Notes?: I got a piccie I can post at the beginning of my posts xD It sucks, but I mean, like o_e I like it, but I dun .-. Creampaw Looked around she looked at Silentfeather then pounced on him. "Im Bored!!" She meowed. pinning the Deathclan cat easily, He didn't seem to care.
Silentfeather rolled his eyes and pushes the apprentice off. "I know, But you just gonna have to wait Creampaw." He remarked with a growl. "Go play with Soulclan apprentices, or go bother some warriors!" Then He did a silent hiss.

Spottedsun had watched it all, had felt the burning of her paws for the want to punish Shattergaze for threatening her daughter, had felt the watering of her eyes as she watched Goldenshard, Joysong, Stormheart, and Sandheart protect Flamepaw. What kind of mother had she been? She didn't protect her daughter all, and was only frozen in the ice of rage at the outer force that could have killed her daughter.
Her mind wasn't even on Whitefire. She was only a snooty warrior, who didn't know half of what she was supposed to know to be a warrior. She would never be mature enough to be a mentor, a mother, a rightful warrior. That's how she could never compare to a SoulClan warrior such as Stormheart, or Thornclaw, or Goldenshard, or Joysong. That's why, one day, she'd be defeated by all four of those cats, including herself and probably many more Clan-mates of the silver and black striped she-cat.
As Shattergaze padded back to Dogfang, Spottedsun watched as her daughter's shoulders sunk down, her ears flattening, shame circling through her body. The poor thing...Oh, Spottedsun, be a mother. Help your daughter. She repeated that a few times, summoning the courage to walk over to Flamepaw and drape her tail over the apprentice's shoulders, carressing her with love and apology.
Looking up from her paws, Flamepaw was gone, and her fur began to bristle with fright. Had she been plucked off by Whitepaw or Shattergaze, to be murdered on the outter edges of the Two-Rocks territory? Her eyes flashed to Whitefire and Shattergaze, still where they were before. She glanced around more, relief brightening her vision.
At last, she saw her daughter's tail disappear into the bushes. She hurried off after her, pushing through the other cats until she got to bushes. "Flamepaw..." she whispered, nuzzling her daughter. "Sweetheart, I'm so so sorry, I was a terrible mother. I didn't stand up for you like I should have. Please, will you forgive me?" She licked the apprentice's ears, with long, loving rasps. Flamepaw looked crushed with shame in front of her. "Oh, honey..."

(Thanks XD)
As she sat next to Dogfang, Shattergaze kept her eyes on the foolish apprentice. The weak cat had immediately crumpled the moment Shattergaze had walked over to her. Just like a SoulCat...they are all so weak. Its pathetic. Then the apprentice shakily got to her feet and ran off into the woods, shame burning on her face, and Shattergaze laughed. SoulClan will never defeat us as long as they allow cats like that to live.
~
Goldenshard's eyes held fury as Shattergaze just walked away. The next time I see her outside of a Gathering, I'm killing her. She is a danger to us all, and probably to her own Clan. As she watched Shattergaze leave, she realized that Flamepaw had disappeared. Immediatly forgetting DeathClan, she jumped to her feet to search for her apprentice. She saw a flash run into the woods, and Goldenshard ran to the edge of the trees. She caught the scent of Flamepaw, but also detected Spottedsun. She must have been so afraid...someone like Shattergaze, with a claw a hair from her daughter's throat? Goldenshard shivered. She hoped nothing like that would ever happen to her kits...
As she wove through the trees, she saw Spottedsun comforting her daughter. A half smile went across Goldenshard's face, and she didn't go any closer. They probably want to deal with this alone.
