"No matter how many leaders DeathClan has, that Clan will always be mine!" She shook her head, though her snarl remained. "But I'm not going to betray Fallenleaves like that. Unlike you cats, I actually love somebody!"

This was too much, and Shatterpaw couldn't contain her laughter. "You think that Clan is yours when not one within it will follow you? And how can he know you won't betray him? You've already betrayed your whole Clan, betrayed me. And how do you know we can't love? I loved you as my mentor and friend. And you betrayed me." She shook her head. "If Fallenleaves has any sense, he will leave you before you can betray him as well."
