Sandheart sighed.
Lately over the past few days of the Journey she'd been feeling warier and older. (Coughhackdie)
She looked back at the remaining cats and narrowed her eyes.
One was missing; Shattergaze.

Shattergaze was hanging back. They had the herb, StarClan had shown Flamestar where it was, and now they were heading back. But before they did, they had to cross a thunderpath. It was there Shattergaze was going to put her move into play.

Sandheart soon spotted Shattergaze (XD) at the Thunderpath.
She started forward to get her back to the others but then stopped.
What was she up too?

Shattergaze watched, seeing that Sandheart was eyeing her. Picking up her pace, she caught up to the group, placing herself in front of Sandheart, Flamestar, and the other Soulcats. She was ready.

Sandheart growled and blinked.
"Flamestar, we need to get everyone across the Thunderpath right now." She mewed hearing the approach of a monster.

Flamestar looked at the Thunderpath, her ears popping from the roar from the monsters. She growled, "Get ready."

She would go first.
Sandheart padded to the edge, waited a heartbeat, then shot past.

Tangletail suddenly appeared in front of Flamestar, snarling. She was gone in what seemed no more than second. Her green eyes remained for a little longer, filled with fury. They suddenly turned to bright yellow and turned soft like a kit's.

Shattergaze sneered at Sandheart, then stepped up to the path. She watched as the cars shot by, and she grinned.
Here we go.
Shattergaze ran into the middle of the thunderpath, but didn't make it all the way across. She stood there, pretending to be frozen in fear. And now, the noble soulcats come to my rescue... Even as the car speeded toward her, she grinned.

Shattergaze turned her head to Sandheart, and made her eyes go flat and dull, as if she couldn't understand what was going on, as if she was frozen in terror before the monster that was about to run her down.

"Shattergaze! You mousebrain!" Flamestar snarled, rushing forward. The monster was coming on fast, she quickly pushed the ginger she-cat out of the way, though not moving fast enough and getting hit herself.
The monster continued as if nothing happened, Flamestar lay on the Thunderpath, her body mangled and not breathing.
Suddenly, she let out a gasp and raised her head again before falling back down and her breath quickening before she stopped breathing again. The process happened over and over again till she lay unmoving at all.
((Wow...nvr thought id kill ma charrie off XD till now LMAO))

(it was an obvious trap and a car would completley kill a leader all the way. ooo or are u gonna magicaly come bak to life dramaticaly? lol)

Sandheart snarled and turned her face towards Shattergaze. She raced past the Thunderpath once more and rounded on the cat. "You mousebrain! You could have been killed, Flamestar is losing another life and that was just stupid!" She hissed.
Sandheart hurried back towards Flamestar and examined her for a second before hissing at Shattergaze again and spitting near one of her paws."Thanks to you she's still losing her lives. For all we know that monster may have ripped them all away!"
She waited for a few moments before dragging Flamestar out of the way and back to the others."I need herbs." She muttered half to herself.
