Tangletail suddenly skidded in front of Silverleaf from the undergrowth. She stood face to face, their noses literally touching.
"Look, I've gone through my hard times, but that doesn't mean you have to walk away. I fight to make things right again!" A growl rose through her throat. "You're not going to give up." Her claws dug into the ground. "I'll make sure of that."
