Blackdeath growled, looking up at Screamstep. "Your obviously leader now." he growled as if to state the obvious. He narrowed his eyes at her, distrust clear in his gaze.

Blackdeath smirked, "Actually, I was the second warrior here while you were the what? Fifth?" he sneered, defying Screamstep on purpose.
He would not let another weak cat to take place as the leader. Obviously Tanglestar had been unfit to become leader before she even made the Clan. She should have passed the Clan on to someone who had more experience--like Blackdeath himself. And another stupid mistake--making Screamstep deputy.
What a weak and foolish cat. She wouldn't stand a day as the DeathClan leader.
