Stormheart saw Thornclaw run to the nursery, and decided to go in there. No need to stay in the center of camp. She walk/limped to where Thornclaw was guarding the kits, waiting a few seconds to go inside. When she got inside Thornclaw already had his teeth bared and his claws unsheathed, ready to spring. "It's just me, Thornclaw," Stormheart said, walking into the nursery. "DeathClan's pretty much gone," she informed him, sitting down a little ways away from the kits, beginning to clean her fur. She sighed, agonizing pain all over. "I think only Blackdeath's left. I hope that he's the only one left, at least."

Whitepaw limped towards the apprentices and kit. Mintpaw lay on the ground, bleeding, while Nightpaw was applying herbs. Whitepaw made a face. They were always so gross. She shook her head and limped towards them. "Blackdeath is still stuck in SoulClan camp."She informed them.
She sighed and sat down. "I wish every SoulCat was dead. It was us who ruled the forest." Whitepaw sighed. That would be the life. The apprentice got up again. She just wanted to get back to camp. It wasn't far away.
Sandheart, who'd been collecting herbs, hadn't known anything of the battle. She never noticed anything. Her paws and jaws full, she padded into camp and gasped. Everyone looked tired and battered. It seemed Stormheart had already passed out. Scarheart, a DeathClan cat, was dead, so was Sadie, and Joypaw looked really tired, bleeding a little to much.
She dropped the herbs and hurried over to every cat. She started with Storm, pressing cobwebs into every wound she had. She then moved onto Joypaw, and so on. She didn't think anyone else was hurt, until she scented blood in the nursery. Her eyes widened as she ran over to the Nursery, pushed Thornclaw aside, and whined. Snowkit, Reedkit, and Jaykit all lay dead on the ground.

Thornclaw checked himself when he recognized Stormheart, but he still stayed on his toes. "Darn, I can't believe I missed everything. Never should have spent the night in that tree..." He was referring to his Hollow Tree, where he went to on several occasions to reminisce. As he moved aside for Sandheart, his eyes suddenly filled with terror, and his ears pulled back in fright. "D-Darkstar isn't here, is he?" His eyes scanned the camp for the all to familiar figure.

Owlsong raced through the terretory. She coudn't believe she missed the whole battle! Owlsong ran through camp to see kits and... Saidie dead. Owlsong wanted to cry in rememberence of her old clan. Will this clan split too. Owlsong cried again. She was too late. Owlsong shouldn't have stayed in that forest hunting!

Joypaw snarled at Blackdeath, and hissed in his ear, "Every other cat has fled. You've got no chance now," she released the insane DeathClan warrior reluctantly, and watched her mentor Thornclaw disappear into the nursery, and Stormheart follow him. She raised a paw, and scraped Blackdeath's side. "Now leave," she sneered, hatred building up in her by the heartbeat. She scampered to the nursery, and went up to Spottedsun, nosing her fur. "Spottedsun?" she whispered. "Bad news. Many have died tonight- As you know, Jaykit is one." She flicked her tail at the motionless kit, sorrow welling up inside her. "Reedkit, Snowkit, Saidie, and Faithsong are dead also." She gave Spottedsun a gentle lick, and looked sadly at Thornclaw. This battle had taught her so much... and now she understood his pain. "Darkstar isn't here," she replied hoarsely. "For what I could see, I don't even think he knows about this. If I know the leader of DeathClan, he would've come himself."

Whitepaw sighed and shook her head. Her body was sore from fighting, and her blood mixed with Mintpaw's and Nightpaw's was on the ground. The familiar scent of DeathClan surrounded Whitepaw, but the irritating scent of SoulClan lingered on everyone but Streamkit. Lucky her. Whitepaw twisted her head around to lick a big wound on her flank. Ouch. She felt the pain now.
"I wonder if Darkstar will be mad." She mused. The DeathClan leader had nothing to do with the attack, he never knew anyone was planning on anything except the other night attack. What a leader he was. "I think we need to go back to camp, but I want to go back and see if Blackdeath is OK." she sighed. Whitepaw and Blackdeath had been the only cats who'd stayed the longest, and if SoulClan was still up for a fight, they'd attack him.
Whitepaw turned around and began padding away. She didn't care if she was hurt anymore then she already was. They could be taken care of when Deathsong had enough time. It didn't take Whitepaw long to cross the border and slip back into the SoulClan camp. There, she saw Thornclaw guarding the nursery, on extra alert, Stormheart and Sandheart pushing their way inside, Scarheart still laying dead on the ground next to Sadie, Jaykit, Snowkit, and Faithsong. Blood surrounding them, covering their pelts. Blackdeath...nowhere to be seen until Joypaw whipped around and pounced on the DeathClan warrior. Whitepaw bared her fangs but stayed there. Blackdeath could easily take on a scrawny apprentice, so there was nothing to worry about.
Whitepaw rolled her eyes and half trotted half limped away towards DeathClan camp. She knew Darkstar would be furious, but she didn't care. She was just relived to almost be back at camp.
The apprentice sighed with relief as she recognized all the different dens. Many cats who hadn't come were probably out hunting or something, because it still looked empty. Excluding the livid Darkstar, who was pacing the center of the camp.

((I know Whisper hasn't been here for most of the fight, but just FYI, she needs to lose a life in this raid))
Whisperstar leaped from her den, fur bristling, green eyes blazing, claws unsheathed. She was furious, but not only at the DeathClan cats. Why hadn't Dogfang come to get her? She'd been having a nightmare, and hadn't woken up. Her own Clan was being attacked and she was sleeping! She was furious at herself more than anything. My Clan is my life, and this is how I protect them? Whisperstar was disgusted with herself. I'll make up for it, she thought grimly. And she threw herself into what little fight there was left, past the point of caring for her own safety. She could see the bodies scattered around camp. Whisperstar felt guilt for every one of her cats that had been killed, as much as if she herself had killed them.
Skyshadow chuckled in anticipation as the cat he had been waiting to see finally appeared. "Well, well, well," he murmured to himself. "The Great Whisperstar has arrived." Skyshadow crouched low on the boulder. He was outside the camp, viewing the fight from over the wall of brambles that was supposed to protect SoulClan. He snorted. It was pitiful. He unsheathed his claws and sailed clear over the brambles. Skyshadow answered Whisperstar's rage-filled yowl with a battle cry of his own. She was his. He was going to take her down.

(WHAT YOU STARTED WITHOUT ME? *PISSED* UGG FINE then I'm going to pretend that Shatter was here the whole time)
Leaping away from her SoulClan enemy, footfalls made Shattergaze's ears twitch. Her icy eyes slowly looked through the clearing until she saw Whisperstar emerge from her den. So the leader finally decides to join us...about time. You'd think she didn't want to fight DeathClan. A cruel smirk fell into place on her face. Things should get interesting now. As she saw Whisperstar emerge, she noticed that Skyshadow saw the same thing. Whisperstar will not escape her without losing a life. She may not even escape with any lives. Shattergaze smirked. If she had it her way, that is what would happen.

Whisperstar saw Skyshadow and Shattergaze through her blind rage and threw herself at them. Two against one? She didn't have a chance, but she didn't care. Revenge and grief and guilt and anger pounded through her blood, lending her strength. She smashed into Skyshadow, sending the big tom staggering backwards. He snarled and swiped his claws at her, but she ducked and sprang, sinking her claws into his fur. Skyshadow was surprised by the ferocity of Whisperstar's attack. He hadn't expected her to be much of an opponent and he paid dearly. Her claws ripped through his fur, and warm blood soaked his side. The pain was surprisingly intense.
It took only a moment for Skyshadow to shake off his shock. His strength and size overpowered Whisperstar's. He let out a yowl and cannoned her off him with his back legs. Whisperstar managed to right herself in midair and landed on her paws, but heavily. The wind was knocked out of her for a moment. She looked up at Skyshadow and read the murder in his eyes. He's going to kill me, she thought dizzily.

Shattergaze's grin got wider as she saw hysteria enter Whisperstar's eyes. She can't handle this. She can't take it to see her Clan fall around her. She doesn't fully know what she's doing. Shattergaze could only laugh at this beautiful situation. And two against one? Skyshadow and she would take down Whisperstar easily.
Whisperstar hurled herself at Skyshadow, and as the two grappled, Shattergaze blithely leapt onto her back, digging into her back with sharp claws and gouging into Whisperstar's side. She lowered her head next to the SoulCat's ears, and hissed. "A little upset, are we, Whisperstar? Angry you didn't see out attack coming? Angry you let your Clanmates die while you were sleeping? Well no matter. It's two against one right now, and I've taken your lives before." Shattergaze's laugh was an icy wind. "You won't make it out of this with all your lives intact."
Then she dug her teeth deep into the leader's neck.

Dogfang leaped toward Skyshadow, his jumps long and wide. He was going to knock the tom out from underneath Whisperstar, so Whisperstar would land on the ground, hopefully stunning Shattergaze, and it'd be one against one. But there was a little sneaky twist. Even if Shattergaze was stunned for a second, she still had a death-hold on Whisperstar, right? His leader would suspect nothing of him.
He careened into Skyshadow, yowling with all his might, knocking him from beneath Whisperstar's claws. As he rolled away and as Dogfang dove beneath her paws towards him, he could see Skyshadow as he weakly got up.
My, my. Whisperstar had got him good. Oh, I hope she puts of that kind of fight with me! he thought, stepping toward the large DeathClan warrior. He'd make this attack quick so he could turn around and "attack" Shattergaze.
Spottedsun glanced up at Joypaw, her eyes shining with fresh grief for the deceased cats. She nuzzled Joypaw back, staring at Jaykit. "I'm sure you could have been his mentor once you were a warrior and he was an apprentice. I can't believe he's gone . . . I would have made sure his life was close to perfect." Her ears flicked as she heard that Faithsong had died too and lied down on her head as she held in a wail. "She . . . she . . . was going to live such a special life . . . She dreamed of having her own kits and an apprentice . . . Oh, Joypaw, I'm so sorry . . . " It seemed as though the she-cats were unseperable, and this was just so saddening. Why had everyone she loved just . . . left her and the Clan . . . ?

Whisperstar snarled. "Just because you have no honor, no dignity, no sense of moral, and no faith in StarClan does not mean you'll win, Shattergaze. What you think is your greatest strength will be your own undoing. Belief in StarClan is weak? Following the Warrior Code makes us pathetic?" Whisperstar spat. "Following the Warrior Code is what stops SoulClan from tearing DeathClan to shreds. Believing in StarClan gives us the strength to push you back, every time you see fit to attack. If you were anything other than a selfish, bloodthirsty, power-hungry, cold-blooded murderer, you would see that--" Before she could say any more, Shattergaze had attacked.
An edge of panic crept into Whisperstar's mind as she felt Shattergaze's teeth sink into the back of her neck. She could still feel Skyshadow writhing underneath her, but she would not let go. She would kill him, if she could. Suddenly, a force as solid as a tree slammed into the three battling cats. The breath was knocked out of Whisperstar, but with relief she felt Shattergaze's hold loosen in shock. Skyshadow was sent flying, and out of the corner of his eye, he glimpsed gray and white fur.
Dogfang!
The thought ran through Whisperstar and Skyshadow's mind at the same time, but with much different emotions. Whisperstar's spirit soared. He can take care of Skyshadow while I focus on Shattergaze! she celebrated. Skyshadow snarled angrily at the SoulClan deputy. I thought he was on our side, he thought in disgust and fury. Whisperstar had ripped his pelt to shreds. Fur hung off him in clumps. Just then, he caught a gleam in Dogfang's eyes and the big golden tabby understood. Dogfang was acting. He grinned. This would be fun.
Whisperstar managed to free herself from Shattergaze's grip. She hissed and lashed her tail, feeling blood trickle through her neck fur. Without giving the DeathClan deputy a chance to recover from Dogfang's attack, Whisperstar sprang and dug her claws deep into Shattergaze's side. She clung on grimly, knowing that if she lost anymore blood, she would be too weak to fight. Whisperstar hated herself for any weakness. She had to avenge Saidie, Faithsong, Jaykit, and the others.

As Whisperstar fell into one of her little Honor speeches, Shattergaze laughed through her teeth. How classic, how predictable! Just like a SoulCat to try throwing morals in my face to stop an attack they know will end in defeat... "And Whisperstar, let me tell you, a belief in morals and honor won't win you this battle either. That's been proven before. After all, little Jaykit and Faithsong believed in them, and yet they are dead, aren't they?" She laughed. "Maybe if they hadn't been so preoccupied looking for help from StarClan they'd be alive right now. And a cold blooded murderer? Why Whisperstar, you've never been so flattering to me before!" She cackled, and lashed her head around, dragging her teeth through Whisperstar's neck.
A gray flash caught the corner of Shattergaze's eye as she saw Dogfang race towards the cats. Excellent...this couldn't get any better. Dogfang will 'take care' of Skyshadow, and I'll have a weakened Whisperstar all to myself...again. The only thing that could make this moment better was if she could see the look on Whisperstar's face when she found out her Deputy was a traitor. But oh well, that day is not today...
When Dogfang barreled into Skyshadow, the cat were thrown to the ground. Dogfang and Skyshadow came up facing one another, and Shattergaze could see the glint in Skyshadow's eyes. That will be good...now, just to see to Whisperstar. Before Shattergaze reacted, Whisperstar flung herself into the DeathClan Deputy's side, digging her claws deep into her side. Shattergaze hissed in anger, but the pain was nothing. Whisperstar is determined, I'll give her that, even though she is weak and at a clear disadvantage. Then she grinned. Determination won't save her in the end, though.
Shattergaze dug her claws into the ground, and with Whisperstar still hanging onto her side, Shattergaze body slammed her into the ground, crushing the cat beneath her. The sudden impact loosened the grip on Shattergaze's side for a moment and she leapt free, as she dig raking her claws down Whisperstar's belly, more blood welling up. She fell into her battle stance, ready. Let's see how long she lasts with those wounds.

Dogfang stood there, his legs spread out into a courageous stance he'd learned from his mentor so long ago, listening to the battle growls and screeches coming from behind him. It's truely music to my ears . . . A grin curled on his face, his eyes blazing at Skyshadow as he began to focus again. He'd put on a very good show for the large tabby tom, even though he was almost two times Dogfang's size.
Suddenly, he threw himself forward like a monster, slamming into Skyshadow. If he could knock him down and get a death grip below his throat, he'd look like he was so close to killing the tom. Within the impact, he used his head to put into Skyshadow's rock hard chest. Pain shot through his head, but he knew he hadn't done anything drastic to himself that could ruin any of his plans.
He wasn't sure if he could hear Skyshadow gag or not, because he was still pulling his mind away from the pain in his head and neck. Why was he getting so unfocused these days? Why were his emotions and feelings playing with him for the first time? Would he have to fight them back soon? How many would it be against one?
