(Um idk Blackheart, we kinda have sumthin going on for DeathClan right now...)
Shattergaze's eyes slide slowly across the clearing to the new cat, and a smile creeps onto her face. "Can you be leader?" She laughs. "Why should you be? What have you done for DeathClan? What loyalty have you shown?" She looks at the other DeathClan cats, smirking. "Well. When the spot for leader is open, cats join our Clan left and right." Then Shattergaze looks back at the black cat, shaking her head. "Why should you become our leader?"

Skyshadow stalked out of the shadows, sneering down at the she-cat. Compared to him, the black stranger was small and weak. "Maybe your dilusioned mind thinks you can, but you'd never be able to measure up to me. I, unlike you, have proved my loyalty time and time again. And I, unlike you, deserve the position." He held his head high, arrogance shining in his eyes. Obviously StarClan would choose him. But why were they waiting so long?
((OOC: just go with me here, haha. Skyshadow's been part of DC for a "long time", okay?))

Shattergaze just stared at the cat, then laughed. "Really? You think you can lead DeathClan into a 'new age'? I'd love to see you try. But unfortunatly, that won't happen." She smirked, then turned to Skyshadow and grimaced. "And Skyshadow, you don't know you will get the position. Really." She rolled her eyes.

*walks by the cats seeming to appears very randomly* hello *keeps padding to the camp, she looks tired, like she'd been out for awhile* (pretend this is before i took the nap and had the dream XD)

Shattergaze watched as Skyshadow let out a fake sigh and tried lecturing her. At this, she just laughed. "Talk to me again when you actually have something to say worth hearing."

Shattergaze just chuckled as she walked away. Cats like Skyshadow had the need to feel strong, important, or special. And Shattergaze knew why. Because somewhere deep inside, he knows [/i] he's not special. Knows he'll never amount to anything.[/i] So she walked on and let her sickly sweet smile crawl into place. But Shattergaze also knew that she would.
