Well hello there and welcome to Tolling Through Life!

We are an advanced to intermediate RP site. Tolling Through Life is a dog RP, we have a 150 word minimum(Its not that hard! Honestly!)

There are two packs in Hello Seattle, both packs who were formed from dogs with no family to call their own.

After the wipeout of the humans from strange chemicals, the dogs have here have lived on their own, facing dangers from every side.

Life isn't really what you call 'fair' on Hello Seattle. It can be cruel and unusual, or fun and pleasant.

What will you make of your life, here in Hello Seattle?

D< Ahahaha! You people are so impatient xD I almost finished this weekend -_- but I was so dang busy with family D: sorry.
All we really have to do is clean up a bit of the boards, and then the groups...not to mention new banner(I have it, just need to edit a bit of it o_o), and then...umm...that's it :D Oh, and a new skin D: I don't like the one we have.
Its so icky and makes me feel sick that I made it xD my other one was so much better...grrr..s o . m u c h . b e t t e r . I assure you. D:

General Rules


  • Please be polite to all members, if you get into a fight with someone, take it to PMs, and if it gets worse or you can not see eye-to eye, simply contact an admin and we will try to settle it as best as possible.
  • Do not speak of religious or politics, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and friendships have been lost over such talks.
  • We allow cursing, but do not be a sailor, mkay?
  • Do NOT use bright colors like yellow and limegreen when posting in IC, actually as a matter of fact, please do not post in IC or OOC unless in a thread made for roleplaying. Thank you.
  • We are an intermediate to advanced RP canine site, do not use " * * " or "~ ~ ", but post in third person! Its extremely confusing when in first person! If you can not handle that, then we ask of you do not even consider joining and we also recommend you go to a lower of the level canine RP.


Creation Of The Character


  • This is an INTERMEDIATE canine RP site, therefore all IC(In Character) posts much be at least 150+; Failure to post that will result in a limit of two warnings, then a disabled account
  • As said in the rule above, this site is for a canine site, NOT wolf(Unless you win a contest and/or have enough PawPrints), not cat, not deer or whatever.C A N I N E. Must we say more?
  • Even if you are a girl, you can obviously RP a male - Tolling Through Life staff know obviously that most males are not really into this kind of RP, or any RP really. Its the same vice-versa, if you are a male, you can RP a female. Its alright, not considered gay or anything =] We just mostly want you to keep your characters balanced, like do not make a bunch of females or just males, make sure to have a variety! Most who join are mostly females, RP a male every once in awhile! Its actually rather amusing and fun.
  • MAKE A CHARACTER BEFORE POSTING! I cannot stress this enough! You must make one, or you will receive a warning if you post before having it accepted, and if you fail to follow this warning, it will result in a ban.
  • THIS COUNTS FOR STAFF TOO: DO NOT make new posts inside the accepted area. Even if you're staff and making a new BIO for another character, you cannot accept it, another admin will and move it, and we will know if you put it in the accepted area or in the pending area. Trust me.


Rules About Fighting



  • Before scheduling a fight(or even just winging it in an RP), make sure you PM a mod or admin so they can tell if the fight is fair or not. To make sure there is no powerplaying(where someone says what someone's other character does) or god-modding(making it seem as if your character is perfect). If a mod or staff member is not on, and you still want to fight, you may; but someone of the site staff has to check the thread later, and decide who won(like it may turn out that someone god-modded or power-played and therefore the other character wins)
  • You can be as graphic as you want, but if too graphic, then we ask of you to do it in PM.
  • Fights do not really happen all too often and the most common reason of all is males fighting over females and/or land, maybe even authority of pups. But try not to make up stupid reasons such as "he called you stupid" or something like that(unless your character is extremely protective of stuff like that, then that is alright)


Tips on RPing


  • Paragraph detail is the key to getting to 100 words; Its rather hard not to be descriptive when RPing a canine(at least for most here, I am more into canines than felines actually...and maybe because most of us have been RPing for about 4-5 years now). Watch below as you can change your simply paragraphs and make RPing so much more fun and descriptive, without even really trying.
    1) Axel stared up at the sky. It was very dark
    2) Axel lifted her head to the sky and stared for a moment, the stars shined brightly under the blanket of blackness.
    3) Axel lifted her white, brown, and white head to the sky, she let her eyes squint slightly so that she could see the moon-lit night. The mixture of perfection to her was that the dark blue sky and the stars seemed to be forming a image that looked like a cup.
    4) Her walk was perfect at each paw step; her weight moved from paw to paw, tossing her body back and forth. With a smooth, small, sigh, Axel lifted her head to the sky and her eyes squinted slightly. The moon was shining brightly compared to the other small stars. The mixture of perfection to her was the dark blue sky and the stars were forming what looked like an image of a cup.
